We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace. We used this hotel as a stop over to cut a long drive. The team was accomodating, the room was spacious and the breakfast was good. I liked the fitness facility as well. -

The atmosphere of the historic value they placed on the contents, furniture, the appearance of the outside, very old time of our history, yet comfortable and inviting, especially the porch over looking the historic town, just charming and old world which is what we were looking for. -
The inn is lovely, the staff friendly and the town is quaint.

The staff was extremely helpful. The room I was originally supposed to stay in was not ready and they automatically upgraded us to a better room extremely quickly, neither was inexpensive but I did appreciate it. Everything is only a phone call away. -

Setting, room, the palace, people, amenities available. Haunted house and cast were very good. Food and the food service team were very good. Dinner did take a little long to be served though.

we enjoyed most everything from fishing ,spa,pool,bar with live entertainment ect..and the staff was excellent like they would jump through hoop to make you happy or to accommodate your needs top notch.we will be going back.we could stay any where being members of encore properties and resort this place is the best. -

The place had a lot character being an older building. We stayed in the unrenovated part of the hotel but it was still nice. Nothing to necessarily write home about but nice. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very nice. Overall a pleasant stay.

The rooms were OK, but our queen suite was configured strangely. All the amenities were there, and they all worked well. The breakfast bar was attractive and the food was OK, but I would advise against scrambled eggs. -
