Having previously paid a small fortune to stay in cramped dingy hotels
rooms in Manhattan, we decided to try this as an alternative. It was a
great decision. You get so much more for your money, in terms of space
and facilities. Our room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We were
in a guest house but had total independence and freedom. The very
helpful manager was available at specified times but left us to
ourselves unless we initiated contact. The area has plenty bars and

I was happily surprised to find that our room had a fridge/freezer as well as a microwave. I don't believe this was advertised on the website and would be a great addition. I was happy with my stay at NYC Hostel. This was my first stay and was there for one night only (in Nov 2013).
- The hostel was clean and staff were welcoming.
- You get a new bed-sheet, a comforter, pillow and a towel.

It's the best place to stay at Brooklyn! Cheap, clean, well-located, comfy and welcoming! The hosts and the other guests were very friendly, kind and respectful with me. I really enjoyed my experience at NYC Hostel and recommend to everybody.
