The Port Inn was comfortable, with a friendly and helpful staff. It is slightly outside the busy, touristy downtown area and we felt this was a plus. The hotel was full, but it was very quiet. The room (we had one of the honeymoon suites) was nicely furnished, very clean with ample, thick towels and a comfortable bed (the pillows were a bit flat and needed to be replaced...a minor issue for us). We did not have the breakfast, but it looked tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

Diverse offerings for the continental breakfast (fruit, yogurt, bagels & toast in addition to the normal offerings of muffins and doughnuts). Convenient location, just a few minute drive to downtown Portsmouth, about an hour to Boston. Great value for the price. This was our second visit and we'll be back. We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay at Port Inn! For such an affordable price, we weren't expecting it to be so nice! The staff very helpful, accommodations were spotless and so comfortable, (mattresses were fabulous, with lots of pillows), continental breakfast was big with many selections! What a great find this place was, and we'll definitely go back!. The staff was so friendly. Skip the owner made us feel so welcome the minute we walked in. We chatted in the morning with two of the friendliest ladies. The room was clean and comfortable. All the rooms were booked yet it was quiet n cozy and only minutes from downtown. The grounds are well kept. I would highly recommend the Port Inn!. Staff was warm and welcoming. It was the middle of a snow storm and they found us taxis and they even cleaned off my car before I got out of bed. My sisters and some fiends stayed there for a successful bachelorette night. Rooms were perfect size and very appealing to the eye. I would definitely stay again and recommend it. Not a darn thing!. Nothing. Its 5mins driving distance to City centre, but this is no big deal, as parking there is very cheap. No complaints. One guest had a dog at the pool. Could hear people next to us. Attempted to call the front desk, this was @ 1:30 in the morning and only got a fast busy signal. Right on a major road--but honestly was not a bother. traffic sound when at pool. no lotion!. Very busy road out front, however a traffic light made it easier to get out of the parking lot. Location is average and breakfast space constricted. nothing. Was a long walk to town, but still walkable. Price was a little high, but so were all motels in the area. Linens were dirty. Rooms smelled. Your rating was very incorrect. our room was near the utilite service area. There was a banging sound thru the night. The free breakfast was pretty lame, I know it was free so we should be happy with what we get... But it could have had some more options. Only issue we had!. Room had a musty smell. though room price was a little high.
