Lamothe House Hotel a French Quarter Guest Houses Property - Fotos
O que as pessoas dizem
Location was great near the French Market and Royal Street, very easy
to get around and just far enough from Bourbon St to avoide the late
night/early morning party animals, and there are a lot! Our room
was fabulous but over the road from our friends whose room was much
smaller with no windows. Each room is different so they struggle with
consistency/equity in accommodations, however bed really comfy,
room clean and fresh with lovely olde worlde fittings. Place has great
character. Raney on Fr. todos opiniões »
When I first arrived I was disappointed to find out I would be staying in the guest house across the street. My disappointment evaporated when I entered my room. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed. Then I looked at the bathroom it was as large as the bedroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate walkin shower all tastefully done.
This room was across the street on Kerlerec Street, next to the parking lot. Parking was convenient.
The room -401- was in the front on the first floor. It was a very nice room. Felt spacious. 12 foot high ceilings, recently refinished natural wood floors, new paint, very nice ambiance!!.
The rooms had been recently renovated and was clean and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was quite reasonable
and the location in the French quarter was wonderful -- close to the
activities/attractions but far enough away from the noise of
Bourbon street.
Absolutely beautiful historic hotel that was close to Bourbon Street and all of the festivities yet it was quiet to relax and sleep in. Beds were very comfortable, modern updated bathroom and very quaint. Loved the furnishings and antiques in the lobby and entry ways.
Staff were very friendly and were very helpful ! Sandy in reception made reservations for our group when seeking somewhere to eat breakfast ! Beds very comfortable , room cosy and clean and Hotel very quaint and cute !.
Perfect location !
Staff very accommodating. Our flight was cancelled 2 days & they were able to let us stay on as well as stay in our same room.
The courtyard was fabulous as well as the pool & hot tub!.
Loved the location of the hotel, the old antique feel of the hotel but the contemporary style of rooms, very clean...will definitely come back.
Excellent location, nice staff and good value. This hotel offers no breakfast or bar or mini bar BUT all that is outside the front door.
I love the location, style of the hotel, pool, spa, wi-fi, garden area and the bed was very comfortable.
I would stay there again:-).
This place was amazing, I loved the vintage historic feel I got walking in the front doors!
Deffinatly booking again.
Loved the location enjoyed Frenchmans street better than Bourbon street. Love New Orleans. Would stay at here again.
The staff and location were tops! We couldn't have had a better room. It was comfortable, affordable, quiet and clean.
We loved the location of the hotel, close to Frenchmen Street and also to Bourbon Street and the water front area.
Older hotel updated very nice, the location, the price was reasonable.
Friendly staff, great location, confortable bed, old New Orleans feel.
Comfortable, clean friendly place. Helped make our stay enjoyable.
Location was great. Had privacy. Great food in area. Great music.
Very clean. Charming courtyard. Protected parking.
Clean close enough to french quarter good location.
Location, friendliness of staff, size of room.
It was just relaxing, quite and friendly.
Everything.....absolutely no complaints.

Atmosphere, decor, and location.
Rooms were very nice, clean.
Great value. Good location.
Location and staff great.
staff concerns and help.
location and set up.
Everything was nice.
Location.
Good location in French Quarter - quiet area but anything / everything a close walk.
The location is great and the rooms are fine.
I would have loved this place but, it was not cleaned. I asked for it to be cleaned...never really happened.
charming historic house with great courtyard.
Charming historical building.
Location.
The noisy kids (friends of manager) that partied till 4am on our first
night. Our friends didn't get much sleep and manager not too
interested in taking any more complaints or compensating them like they
did other guests. Poor form! Also we had booked together in January, so
to be split up in May was. Of fair. Again, manager not interested in
finding better room for our friends.
None.
shower water temperature was cooler than body temperature on the first 2 of 3 night stay
Wi-Fi disappeared at about 7:30 PM and came back about 8:00 AM each morning. Unsuccessful fiddling with laptop settings to try to restore service carried some pain. Regardless, service came back the next morning.
Room needed a couple of chairs to sit in.
The internet did not reach to the hotel rooms at the back of the
property. The air conditioner unit was pointed directly at one side of
the bed which was very cold. We had to pile up several pillows to block
the cold air in order to sleep.
No elevator which made it tough to get all the luggage to the second floor but that was only a minor inconvenience. Everything else in the hotel made up for it!.
We were under the upper walkway & it could get noisy when revellers came home or late arrivals rolling there suitcases!.
We were in room 116,loved the location..but would have loved to see a sitting chair and a full length mirror, besides that loved it.
The frame under the bed sticks out and we got a few good bruised from that. NO COFFEE in the room..., should have a small table/counter/something in the corner in the bathroom to hold cosmetics, shaving kit.. etc. Keep the pool open a little later.
No complaints other than lots of beggars in New Orleans.
The hot water didn't last long in the shower, so we had to space out our use of it.
No coffee in the room.
Hot tub was not in working order during our visit.
Didn't have a coffe maker or blow dryer.
No feeling of welcome. No assistance to make our visit special. The room did not look like the web photos.
No refrigerator or microwave lower rooms loud if someone is above you.
Lighting in room.
No water pressure at all under heavy use.
Bathrooms were a bit cramped.
upstairs lobby and some rooms across the street from property bit funky but expected funkiness as part of eclectic appeal
would have been GREAT with a bed AND breakfast but decent value nonetheless.
No breakfast as had been advertised. No in room tea making facility.
No vending machine.
Price.
No coffee in room (coffee service in lobby)- queen room a little small-.
That we weren't informed that we would be staying across the street in the back, in an alley. Felt odd in the beginning.
A little pricey but it was Mardi Gras so what can you say.
bathroom could have been a little cleaner with less hairs left behind.
Noisy room 115.
Booked as a group of couples, however 1 couple's room 'outside' and across the back street. They were then charged more for their stay.
The price was too much for the service, which was only fair. I'm not sure when the Lamothe house stopped doing continental breakfast, but it seems like the prime hike coincided with that.
Management asked housekeeping to fix the issue. Housekeeping didn't. We talked with 4 different desk people about this issue. It was upsetting to find our stay disturbed by smell and cleanliness issues.
stayed in room 211 which is more like a broomcloset than a room; could hardly open the door; had friends there and they had a nice room for the same price. if you're gonna rent that room, it should be for pets.
No closet, no hangers, no chair, not any type of surface to put a lap top, no coffee maker, no cups, no fridge. The common area downstairs has no place to sit or hang out. The common area upstairs offers no privacy even for a phone call. You have to check in upstairs even if your room turns to be downstairs.
Accomodation.
