  The staff was courteous & accommodating. I enjoyed having the free shuttle as well as free parking for my family who joined me from Baltimore for my granddaughter's graduation. Great access to airport & Yankee Stadium. All that I've come to expect from my consistent stays with the Marriott brand & more. Pleasant walk through residential neighborhood to some excellent Greek, Italian, and Middle East restaurants.   We were a group of 7 people travelling together by van so this is an excellent place as the parking is included in the room cost. The breakfast and a shuttle to the nearest train station and back is also included in the room rate. So an excellent deal. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. I would not recommend this place for families with c... o que as pessoas dizem » hildren under 12 as it takes a lot of time to get into Manhattan on the trains and can be exhausting. - I liked that the shuttle picked us up at the airport and also gave us rides to the subway stop. The two gals at the front desk at night (sorry not sure of their names) were extremely helpful with subway advice. The hotel served exactly the purpose we were looking for which was a place to sleep at night while we explored the city during the day.

  Very clean hotel with friendly stuff. But personal almost invisible maybe cause we left a room for walking in NYC for all day. We stayed in weekend time and slept very well without any noises from the street. We haven't seen any racing on neighborhood, that mentioned in other travellers reviews. You can order any food from room catalog.   It's not easy finding reasonably affordable yet good-quality self-catering accommodation in New York City, but this was perfect! As a young woman travelling by myself, I felt I had to keep my wits about me on the street, but everything was fine (just be sure to use commonsense). The train station is very close, and the local grocery store is only ... o que as pessoas dizem » around the block. It's not the wealthiest area, but it's obviously a family area. I was immensely impressed with the chap who carried my heavy bag up - This is a good alternative to staying in downtown Manhattan. Coming from a small UK town the area was a bit of a culture shock. Spacious appartment with everything you need for a short stay. Subway stop just around the corner so easy to get downtown in 15 to 20 mins. You can also walk to the Guggenheim in a similar time. A couple of nice restaurants nearby and a supermarket if you want to eat in.
