  Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour.   The staff was extremely kind when our taxi didn't show up to take us to Union Station. So we missed the train. A staff member stood in the rain with us while we tried to get another cab. We couldn't get a cab, but they let us continue to use our room for the day. This out- weighs any of the negative comments we wrote. Anna and Barbara did an excellent job of cleaning and restocking my room 317 when I stayed there earlier this week. They both deserve raises.   The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors - 5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.
