  We rented the "carriage house" lower floor, for three days in August. We did it short notice and knew we'd have great weather. The Carriage house is large, but not on the water. There was so much space though that it was worth not being right on the water (we rented a boat and had jet skis so it we'd had enough by 4pm every day). Extremely easy to launch jet skis or boat right from their own facilities, which was - The location of the Sun Castle Resort is superb. Our townhouse had a direct view of the lake from the balcony and many of the rooms. The resort also has a pool and a small lake-front beach. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The resort is located a few miles from Lake George Village, and it is thus early to go into town and back by car. The townhouse was very well appointed and clean. This was a great find for us.
