Excellent, family-owned & operated, motel on Canada St (main st. in Lake George Village). Art Gallery in lobby, lots of tourist info also. Can walk everywhere. Enjoyed the free morning coffee on the covered veranda overlooking the heated pool. Quiet, shady atmosphere at rooms and parking areas. Guest Book in room needed updating, pages were missing. Need more menus from places that deliver food. Overall, we loved the Admiral and we will check there first before any other place in Lake Ge.
todos opiniões » My husband and I pulled up and thought what a cute place and was greeted by the friendly and helpful woman behind the desk. I assume she was the owner/manager. We were allowed to check in early as our room was ready and it was small but clean and nicely decorated. The Admiral is close to town so we walked everywhere. The pool was perfect. Small but heated clean with some shade for those who want it. At night the place is all lit up and looks beautiful. Wouls highly recommend to others. The Admiral was a very nice place. It was immaculate and very quiet. Walking distance to everything. Really great value for the money. Older style of motel but cute and clean. Friendly owner/operator. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much--looking forward to returning there again. It is right in town and you can walk to everything. Very clean and quiet. Room, towels and bed were very clean. The motel is attractive in an understated way. The location is within walking distance of most of the village. Parking area's tight. No micro waves in rooms, but had one in lobby to use. Outdoor speakers and music at the pool area would be nice to drown out the noise from traffic on Canada St. The beds were small and sank in the middle. The worst think was there is a table with sharp corners right outside bathroom door. Banged by knee on it several times. Had cuts and bruises all over knee. The table was way too large for the space it was in protruding well into the bathroom doorway. Need to update their TV's to new ones. Everything was very good. nothing. Toilet didnt work right bed was hard. no refrigerator or coffee machine in the room. Spiders in my room. One was actually in my bed. Ahhhh....Mattress and pillows were so hard that we couldn't sleep all night. Blankets were very thin. Too much noise from hot water tank or some other motor that was running all night. Coffee was horrid and there were no donuts at 8:15 a.m. Wifi was terrible. The air conditioner didn't work and after the staff was notified they didn't offer us another room. We left a day early even knowing we would lose the money we paid. Our trip was a break from the 90o heat in VA and was the only time available to us so we weren't pleased to not be able to sleep because of the heat.
