The Lodge was was perfect for our family with two boys, ages 8 and 12. It was just far enough away from the activity in town to feel somewhat secluded, yet close enough to only take minutes to be downtown-either by car or trolley.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we happened to come up with.
We were surprized to see deer eating at the feeder right off our balcony and my 'city boys' thought that was awesome. The view was beautiful.

The wife that owns the place was way beond amazing! She was so helpful
with printing out maps for us, and for helping recomend places to visit
and eat! She even made sure to ask if we would like our room cleaned!
Our room was very comfortable and I was in love with the pillows! Very
soft! The drive to the downtown wasn't even that far! I do believe
we paid an awesome price for where we stayed. All in all I would highly
recommend anyone to stay here! No signs of bug either! Yay!.
The motel is very clean and well maintained. There is a restaurant just
a few yards on the left with good food. It is owner operated by friendly
and responsive people. It is not a flashy place but tasteful in
appearance both outside and inside. The bed was comfortable. If you want
to avoid driving to the historic district you can take the Trolly and
avoid parking challenges in the Historic District. We would definitely
stay at this motel again. The value was excellent.
Paul and Kim always give the best service, whatever you need they are always willing and able to accommodate, we have stayed with them many times, it is where we always stay in eureka springs, they are always updating and improving rooms and grounds, their customer service is top rate, highly recommend.
I loved everything! I booked one of the jacuzzi tub rooms (didn't realize this when I booked) and it was wonderful! The owner was so helpful with all my questions including making a recommendation for a great restaurant that was organic and healthy. The room was clean, beautiful and very quiet.
The overall value. They had free Starbucks coffee in the office (early morning) and there was a heated pool. Cable TV, WiFi, microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, and hair dryer in the room. Beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. Owners were very pleasant.
Very clean rooms, pool small but nice quiet setting, friendly and helpful owners, near many eating places and things to do. Only stayed one night but had grown kids with their families and it gave us a place to meet and visit around the pool.
My wife and I had a wonderful two night stay. Have never had a better
experience. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about Eureka

The owners did everything they could to make their guests comfortable and welcomed to the Lodge. They also provided maps and information on dining, transportation and attractions in Eureka Springs.
Wonderful couple to greet you and their Lodge is more than expected. Very clean, updated paint, comfortable, free wifi and if anything extra is needed they will get it to you. Couldn't ask for more.

The facility was very clean inside and out. I believe the staff were the
owners and they were very welcoming and kind. The location wasn't
ideal, but it was still very convienent.

The outward appearance of the motel is clean, neat and themed for the area. It is an older property, which has been upgraded and well maintained.

Everything. The service was excellent and the pool was surrounded by trees. We even saw a deer below. Very clean and inviting.

The internet wifi didn't work in our room and the Television was old
school. However, we were hardly in the room with all to do in the
charming community of Eureka Springs.

The overwhelming smell of room deodorizer when we checked into the room, and the noisy air-conditioner.
That I only booked one night :(.
We had an upstairs room, and to get to the pool it was down two flights
of stairs and then down another to get into the pool area. It was pretty
difficult trying to navigate a two year old through all of that. And no
breakfast! But they did offer 10% off at a local diner to customers who
stayed at The Lodge.
The main two complaints are
1. When the door was closed you had a gap almost all the way around the door.
2. The vent in the shower area did not work so if you took a hot shower it would be steamed up.
Would ask for a rear facing room next time; my only negative was a bit of noise when a family arrived about 10pm to check in.
It would have been nice to have a hot tub out by the pool. However, the heated pool was a plus.
There are no hair dryers in the rooms.
The only negative is not a fault of The Lodge itself, and would likely
translate into higher prices: [car] parking in Eureka Springs is a
random and meter-intensive endeavor and staying at a place with its own
main-drag parking lot would allow for more casual exploration on foot.
