  Hotel prices in DC during Spring Break and Cherry Blossom Festival are astronomical. Budget Host was VERY reasonable. They are half a mile from a Metro station and offer a free shuttle to the station each morning.   When I booked, I mentioned that I am disabled, but forgot to specify a ground-floor. When I called the hotel a couple of days before we arrived, they were VERY accommodating to put us on the first floor, two doors down from the office. Fantastic!! And, facing a busy street with a LOT of loud vehicles and sirens, it was a WELCOME to discover we cou... o que as pessoas dizem » ldn't hear any of it when the door was closed. - Staff very helpful. Room spacious (we were a family of 4 with 2 older teens), bathroom recently renovated we think, free parking and only 25 minute walk to Union Station, excellent value for money for a family visiting the Capital City on a budget.
