Breakfast alone is worth the price of the room - so nice to be able to get up, walk downstairs and have a full, hot breakfast available in a nice environment (not in a small alcove so that folks have to maneuver around each other to get to the food or coffee). As always, the suite design makes traveling so much more comfortable - well worth the price.

Good value for money, even in San Luis Obispo has not much to do. In front has a shooping center and a large supermarket very good. Next Hotel Madonna Inn worth a visit by exentricidade and has a good restaurant with live music. It is 1.5 miles from the city center. -

I liked the quirkiness of the hotel, with it's weird themed rooms and completely different inspired everything. From it's pink dining room to the towel hooks in the bathroom.
The carpet was really soft. I know that sounds weird, but it was probably the most cushy carpet i have ever walked on. -
We love going to the Madonna Inn over the holidays.

1) Amazing view! Sits on a cliff overlooking the coastline
2) Gazebo area is an amazing area for pictures and to take in the views of the pier on the left and the rocky cliffs on the right
3) Staff was very friendly, I was not happy with the partial ocean view room so after a few room changes we settled in with a very nice view
4) Continental breakfast is actually a decent breakfast - bread eggs pancakes juices coffee danish etc.

'suite' was a bit more than we usually pay for a hotel, but
decided that since the location was so perfect, we'd give it a try.

Pismo Lighthouse Suites was perfect for us! We were 5 adults (1 couple and a mother with two adult children) travelling together and we booked a Deluxe Family suite for 1 night. The suite had 3 large beds divided in 2 rooms. It was great with the two rooms so we could get some privacy and each room had its own bathroom and television. We were so pleasantly surprised! The grounds were just beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very cordial and accommodating and breakfast was good...especially for the price, although didn't have eggs which is always nice, but not necessary. Overall, it was a great experience.
