Owners - Simon and David extremely friendly and helpful. Our first time to the lakes and as well as serving up fantastic breakfasts they gave us great guidance on some really good walks. Location is great - 5 mins walk to loads of great restaurants. We had the loft room and our teenage daughter the small double. They had everything you needed including Tea, Coffee, chocolate snacks!. The owners, Simon & David, were very friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was great, with a good choice of dishes. There were some nice little touches, like providing tissues etc. The beds were very comfortable too. I would definitely stay there again.

Our room was nicely furnished, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were friendly and most helpful and the food was good quality and freshly prepared. A most enjoyable stay. We would have liked to have stayed longer.
The location is excellent. A mile from Lake Windermere. Breakfast was always amazing and lots of choice. Simon and David are lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They suggested a lovely walk and places to eat.
I have booked a room for one person. It is small, but enough for me and good value for the price. All the design and facility inside is considerate and friendly. And the host David is a nice person.Totally unexpected - my very heavy suitcase was in my room when I returned from my wanderings.Breakfast was lovely . David seemed genuinely interested in what each patron was doing that day!! .
