This is a perfect setting for nature-lovers, with superb views of the Black Mountains. Sheep, chickens, and all kinds of birds are right on the doorstep. The house is both spiritual and bohemian in ambience and Daphne is a relaxed and entertaining host.
Relaxed. Lovely welcome by Daphne. Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous period rooms in unchanged old pub. No en-suite but lovely bathroom shared by the room our daughter used. Best B&B stay we have ever had! 10/10. todos opiniões »
THia was a lovely place to stay very relaxing calm and quirky Daphne was a pure delight breakfast was delicious with her homemade yogurt and free range egg.
Loved staying in a lovingly restored 17th century Inn and meeting Daphne who clearly loves opening her home up to visiters.
Quirkiness, charm & character of the New Inn.
Peace and tranquility of the surroundings.
Daphne was a real gem.

The scenery is stunning, quiet and peaceful. Daphne is lovely. Everything was homely and quaint.
Very friendly and Quirky place to stay not 5 star but very different and comfortable.
Beautiful setting
Eccentric but interesting and pleasant environment
Nice room.
Daphne was a wonderful and thoughtful host. It was homely and very welcoming.
We liked the peace and tranquillity and also the uniqueness of the place.
Very relaxing, beautiful surroundings, interesting place.
Great place beautiful location highly recomended.
The property, the area, the proprieteress.
Certainly not your usual B&B. This cottage lost in the hills is a quirky place, a very quiet location, ideal for hiking. Zen retreat.
Nothing it was perfect. Steep stairs to bedrooms could be a problem if you have a disability.
no locks on the room doors.
What's not to like, you just have to accept that the New Inn is a unique and wonderful place to stay, and cannot be compared to anywhere conventional.
Not for people who like mod cons or have walking issues as stairs are very narrow and steep.
No cooked breakfast unless pre-ordered - then no trouble - but this is not mentioned in advance.
Parking is difficult although it's the only downside and didn't spoil it for us at all.
The place could do with some serious decluttering. There are a lot of old items displayed everywhere, which add to the charm, but it is a bit too much now.
