Liked the warm and friendly welcome, generous breakfasts and relaxing break. Going through difficult time felt at home there. They even invited me to pop in for tea when passing.
Brilliant location for town and walks down by the river.
Excellent room at the right price. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Would recommend and would definately stay there again.

price, basic accommodation but it was clean and comfortable.
Staff were friendly
Its located close to the town but not right in the centre.
Desk in room, close to town centre.
All was fine.
Good value.
A good location near to the train station and the town centre.
Nothing.
Having to share a bathroom and toilet but for the price i can accept this and i did have a wash basin in the room.
The car park was small so i wasn't able to park in the car park and had to park in the road.
Very cold due to no heating turned on and windows that don't close, very noisy from road and pub.
Part of old pub. Noise below and sloping floors! :-).
very dirty room.
The decor and furniture was dated. The room was dusty, there was only one coat hanger, the carpet looked dirty. The cups we had used to make drinks had not been washed the following day when we came back to the room. One of the shared bathrooms had complicated instructions for using the shower (leave the hot tap running in the sink!). There was only a greasy fry-up for breakfast (not even any toast). The noise from the karaoke in the pub downstairs carried on til 12.30am.
room was filthy. Thick dust. Unhoovered carpet. Wallpaper peeling off wall. Electric socket hanging off wall. Toilet broken. Difficult to find staff. Had to knock to wake them up before leaving at 9am! Breakfast paid for but not offered. Seriously doubt whether it would have been wise to eat there. Wouldn't even drink from mug in room. An absolute disgrace.
