Just 10 minutes’ walk from the harbour, this beautifully preserved Victorian building offers charming rooms, freshly cooked breakfasts and a fully licensed bar. WiFi is also available at the property.
The Sea Point Hotel is a historic, Grade II listed building, originally commissioned by the Admiralty in 1860 to house sea captains and their families. Today, the house still retains many period features, including a grand, sweeping staircase and original fireplaces in most rooms. All rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.
The cosy residents’ bar has a CD jukebox, fruit and quiz machines, and a large TV.
A full traditional cooked English breakfast is included in the price and is freshly cooked to order in the traditional Aga oven. Lighter options are also available.
The Sea Point Hotel is family run and your hosts, Dave and Kim, pride themselves on offering a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service.

Brilliant customer service. We were constantly looked after and the atmosphere in the bar and at breakfast was so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great and the resort itself is excellent. Would strongly recommend a boat trip to Dartmouth. Glorious! One of the guests had booked the trip then changed her mind. Dave was kind enough to offer us the tickets for free and we had a great time. Parking was free and it is a 10 minute walk (downhill) into town. If you don't fancy th. todos opiniões »
Dave was very friendly and accommodating offering advice on where to eat and visit for different budgets. The food was good, freshly cooked and tasty. There is a small bar which has enough beverages to cover most tastes. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely visit again.
Cracking value, great breakfast, perfect for our honeymoon. A couple of days away in a quiet location with lovely friendly hosts. keys to come and go as you please, en suite shower with toiletries and towels provided. Fan, mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Great value!.
Dave and Kim were very welcoming, the breakfasts each morning were exactly what was needed to start the day, all fresh and straight to the table. The room was cosy, and the banter in the bar and free jukebox was great, will book again if ever in torquay.
Excellent breakfast. Good bar prices and reasonable choice for guest house/hotel. Family suite enabled privacy coupled with ability to check on younger family members. All rooms (incl bathroom) were clean.
Dave was a fantastic host, we followed all his advice and had the best time. Room clean, breakfast so tasty and good position. Very hilly area and lots of steps in hotel if elderly.
