Great location on the River Wye with option of River Ferry (hand pulled). Excellent fishing and canoe facilities with camp site next door. Rooms are done very tastefully to very high standard with everything and more besides. Breakfast is probably one of the best i have ever had which makes the B&B rate fantastic. Great selection of local beers and ciders to try too. It was surprisingly quiet for a busy pub/hotel and good for sleeping. Had a lovely view from the window. Got good customer service and a good positioned table for dinner. Food was very good too, and not like the sort of "pub food" we expected to find.

Poor internet and phone coverage (but is that a bad thing?). It was very busy when we arrived on Sunday early afternoon and not so easy to manoeuvre luggage etc inside and upstairs as a lot of activity going on, though it was clear the Saracen's Head was very popular which was a good sign. The bed was rather creaky but otherwise quite comfortable. Absolutely nothing!. Nothing. Nothing. Leaving!. No faults or complaints whatsoever. The view from our room Most of the rooms have a view over the river. Ours didn't unfortunately, but had been recently refurbished. Poor phone reception but is that a bad thing?. Having to leave !. Can get crowded on sunny days, but that’s because it is worth seeking out. Small cramped bedroom. Early evening crowd noise. Some dinner menu items sold out early. Nothing. Nothing. We had a fantastic time. Would have been useful to have a room to dry wet clothing bearing in mind this is a location for outdoor pursuits. unnecessary armchairs in bedroom. A luggage rack would be more useful. Leaving. Nothing. No mobile signal. Nothing.
