  The owners/hosts are very helpful and lovely to deal with. The room was fine. I stayed at hotel for one night because I had a very early flight the next morning from Bristol airport, which I'm pleased I did (coming from Cardiff meant it would have been a very very early start otherwise). Just as extra info, I caught a cab from the airport, and ple... o que as pessoas dizem » ased I did (despite the 10 pound charge each way) as it seemed quite a walk to me, mostly without footpaths, from the airport to the hotel (only 5 min - Excellent location for airport. Cosy, well presented room. Friendly check in even on late evening arrival. Liked the separate accommodation in garden, felt like we really had our own place. Cheap, cheerful and everything needed for a quick night before airport, which is within walking distance, literally 5 mins away.

  Although the weather was wet and damp we were not inconvenienced. We, my daughter and granddaughter, had a great three days visiting Bath City, by bus, where we enjoyed the shopping, the Roman Baths and the Thermae Spa. We also visited, by car, the caves at Cheddar Gorge where again, the rain did not spoil our trip.We also walked up Jacob's Ladde... o que as pessoas dizem » r. It was a pleasure to know we had our very comfortable accommodation to return to and a great Menu to choose from, at reasonable prices and always - Canal side location, adjoining pub and restaurant, cycle path, quietness, helpful smiling staff, kids playground, duck waddling about right outside the door. Not noisy in the evenings despite pub outdoor seating right outside (and we stayed a Friday and Saturday night)
