We were looking for a convenient hotel to stay the night before a flight from Bristol airport. There was no noise to be heard from the airport, which is surprising as it is only a mile away. Fantastic find. Even though they had only been up and running for one month, everything was spot on. We stayed in the family room - spotless, beautifully decorated, lovely underfloor heating, and extremely well equipped. Great views, and would be perfect for Bristol airport. The kitchen /sitting room was an added bonus, owners extremely friendly, and even tea/coffee/breakfast food was provided - not sure why anyone would want to stay in a hotel after this.

The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless.
The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

From the moment we stepped in, the place was inviting. The check-in process was fast and easy as they were expecting us and I only needed to provide my first name...no annoying paperwork. The room was small, but clean, which is most important! We only stayed one night and spent most of time exploring Bath so the size of the room didn't hinder our comfort. Everything, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and well decorated. Food in the lodge was well priced and very enjoyable. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming - the tea and cake on arrival was a nice touch, as we were both starving! The room (which was actually an impressively large suite including a kitchenette - much more than we thought we had booked) was very clean and furnished to a very high standard. Everything felt very new and clean. Good central location with plenty of parking space. Had a great stay and was impressed by everything.

Our room could not be faulted, and wi-fi reception was excellent. Dog-walking in February can be a muddy experience, but the owners had even thought about a 'hosing down' place. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast, and beware the size of the evening meals if you value your waist line. Overall, a top class experience which we expect to repeat .
