  The setting was spectacular, in one of the most interesting and historic houses in Cornwall, the historic home of Charles Valentine Le Grice, a direct decendent of a follower of William the Conquerer. The staff were friendly and the son was kind enough to even give us a tour of some of the rooms. Good breakfast and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The long driveway through the extensive grounds was great, but the real highlight was wandering through the well kept gardens in the evening / morning.

The accommodation was comfortable and the owne - What a fantastic gastro pub, after travelling around the south west of the UK as part of our travels, the Coldstreamer was one of the best. The food from the restaurant was superb. The pub itself is in a great location just minutes from the centre of Penzance in a small village called Gulval - very quiet and parking right outside. Much better than being in the busy city centre.
