  We paid £85 for a double room and breakfast which seemed very reasonable and for this price we were more than happy to be offered an inland facing room. We were very pleased to be given a beautiful room with fabulous estuary views.   The proprietors Hugo and Pippa are truly wonderful hosts, make you feel very special and Woodlands is quite the best hotel we have stayed in - not posh or snooty but really comfortable and welcoming. Guest are pampered with every facility you could wish for - even including a great selection of Teddys to take to bed! Pippa was very helpful explaining the local restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area. We had a great time and sad that it wasn't longer. We look forward to returning soon.
