The Lowenva is a welcoming family-run budget hotel with a bar and south-facing beer garden. It is a short walk from bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and beaches.
Most of the light and airy rooms have sea or countryside views and an en suite bathroom. Some rooms have zip-and-link beds. Groups, and stag and hen parties are welcome.
The restaurant is open for breakfast only, but a bar-snacks menu and daily specials are served from the bar area. Cassidy's Bar is licensed to the public until midnight (23:00 on Sundays), and a late bar is available to residents. There is also a pool table and a dart board to enjoy.
There is a private car park that guests can use for free, however spaces cannot be guaranteed.

The staff were friendly and the room comfortable. The location was great, the staff were very accomodating and for the weekend that we were on (a hen weekend) it was perfect.The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and sunday lunch was fab!. The staff are very friendly.Close to Newquay high street and facilities. Pleasent staff. Breakfast food lovely and large choice. The Cleaness And That We Could Let Ourselves In. The room was very small as well as very very cold, if I had taken my wife I would have moved hotels, however I was out with the lads but even as serving HM Forces we thought it was poor. Car parking could be better. showers could do with an upgrade if your used to a power shower. Parking was absolute nightmare. If you went out for the day you had the worry of not getting a space when you returned, then you would have to double park behind someone else. Also when booking on website it didn't tell us we had to change rooms throughout our stay to 1 that was the size of a large cupboard with a bunk bed and not much room for anything else - even had to share bathroom on landing.The Bed Was Very Hard. Cramped room and en suite,shower hit and miss. No TV controller in room. On asking the manager he said the controllers had been stolen and had not been replaced. Other guests were noisy during the early hours of the morning. Beds were creaky and hard.
