  as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

  This is the second time in a month that myself and girlfriend have spent the weekend at the Alona. As usual on arrival we are greated with cheeery and very smart recepionist and a glass of wine of course. The checkin was over in minute and our room again was immaculate. We will be be going back soon as we simply adore staying ther - After i had booked our room,i received a phone call from Gary the receptionist,who enquierd if we were part of the Wedding party that they were haveing,when we said we were not,we were givein an upgrade & room on the front of the hotel,so as not to be inconvenienced by the party,which my wife & i thot was a fine example of a hotel looking after all of their guests,& a welcome drink was a nice touch,breakfast was exllent & the evening meal was quite superb.

  The room we were initially given was not set up for us and the receptionist quickly organised another room for us. The breakfast was fab also which was included in the price of our staff. Also the free parking onsite was an added bonus. - The hotel was everything we needed for a place to stay for a family wedding.There is a nice place to eat next... o que as pessoas dizem » door with a play area which our little girl enjoyed.Would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

  Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available. Lady on reception was very friendly and ponited us in the direction for some places for dinner. Deals available on break... o que as pessoas dizem » fast. - 1. A very warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival and later that evening on our return to the hotel. She was extremely helpful, friendly and curteous. 2. The location situated just of the M74. Easy access to Glasgow city.

Well designed in terms of environmental concerns, the littleblue light in the bathroom was a great idea as I like to leave a lighton when staying in a "strange" room in case I need to get up in thenight. The loaction is also 2 minutes from the M74 motorway - excellent choice for an overnight stop.

  The marvellous Meg on reception. Could not do enough for you and she cared that you enjoyed your stay. Otherwise the hotel was much like any other Premier Inn although undergoing extension new-build which did not detract. It is set in a small but very busy area easily reached from the M74 - The staff were really lovely and the room was beautiful ... o que as pessoas dizem » . Price well worth it for the well decked out room .. More than happy all round and will be booking in again
