Hotel was modern and the room well provided with facilities, a good bed and good bathroom. Very friendly staff and good (English) breakfast. We traveled by car (without it the hotel is not easy to reach) and choose this hotel for its location for making day trips in and around Scotland. I managed to get a great deal as I booked only a few days before I travelled and then had an upgraded room with it's own conservatory and four poster bed! Staff were very friendly and helpful both at reception and in the restaurant.
