... o que as pessoas dizem » was within walking distance of the "Curry Mile" with easy access into the city centre by public transport. - Lovely place, 4 miles from the town centre.Plenty of buses to the town centre. Big and clean room. Complimentaru fair trade coffee, tea,chicolate. In the clean big bathroom there were even body lotions! Breakfast rich and plentiful. A real bargain for this price. I will go again!

the staff were fantastic . very helpful and always smiling . we went to the Robbie Williams concert at the Ethiad stadium and the hotel had arranged mini buses to drop off and pick up. what a godsend! dont know how we would have got back withiut the forward thinking. when we did eventually het back at 12.25am the night porter told us to get hot te

6 of us stayed at the lodge for the Magic weekend at Etihad stadium. We all feel that the valve for money here was excellent. The staff were some of the very best and polite staff we had come across for a while. They really were helpful. The men of which they were 4 were made up with the quality of food that was served up at the buffet breakfast. Very nicely cooked well stocked all you can eat and drink breakfast included in the price. We will definitely recommend an stay here again.

The hotel is a half an hour (very slow journey) bus ride from the city centre but I did get to see another part of Manchester, which I wouldn't have otherwise done. The very quick train from the city centre to Guide Bridge is 6 minutes and the hotel is 15 mins' walk from the station. Not having to dash about (as I do most days), I rather liked the chance to stretch my legs so the initial off-the-beaten track impression was in the end favourable.
