O que as pessoas dizem
We can only say that this is one of the best B&B's that we have
stayed at. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. We were
given suggestions of places to visit both in and around Derry, and also
a 'history' of the troubled times of this area that was as
informative as any you would receive on a tour. The room well appointed
and very clean and comfortable. On top of all this, there is a washing
machine and dryer for guests to use. For anyone who is travelling for an
extended period . todos opiniões »
This is a lovely private home setting with secure parking. The hosts are
warm and very inviting, and our stay was quite enjoyable. As with many b
& Bs, our triple room was upstairs, but the stairs were wide enough
to be managed. The room was clean, comfortable, pleasantly decorated,
and had complete, modern en suite facilities. The included breakfast was
delicious. Although a healthy walk to the city center, the walk would be
manageable. Every bit midrange in our price continuum, this would.
We liked everything about Rose Park. From the time we walked in the front door we were treated like Royalty, nothing was too much for our young hostess, Mary. The location was excellent, ten minutes walk from the city centre, although the uphill walk back to the B & B tested the fitness. We learnt however that it was easier to drive into the centre and park. The presentation of the facilities was first class, the owners obviously love presenting a wonderful family atmosphere.
I stayed at the Rose Park House one night and everything was perfect.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The house is nicely decorated
and my room was large and confortable. I asked the owner for a map and
how to get to the university campus. He printed off a map and showed me
which way to take. When I checked out he was so kind to give me a lift
to the centre, though I could have easily walked. Excellent value for
money. I definetely recommend it.
We love that this B&B was run by a strong Catholic family. As Catholics ourselves, it gave us the opportunity to talk about and share our faith with the owners. We enjoyed this very much! We were treated wonderfully especially having had the opportunity to take a drive with Thomas to view the lovely countryside! We are blessed to have stayed at your B&B and for getting to know you. God bless and protect all of you, Jennifer and Steve.
The location was close to the the centre of Derry and our greeting was warm and friendly. Thomas, our host, showed us to our rooms which were excellent.
We were chatting with Thomas about the history of Derry and where the points of interest were located and this proved invaluable for our all to brief stay here. The breakfast was everything you would expect of an 'Ulster Fry' .
An excellent B&B with a lovely family team.
The proprietor and staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful without
being officious. My room was cozy and comfortable -- spotlessly clean.
The full Irish breakfast (continental breakfast is available also) was cooked to order and delicious. Best of all, the B&B is located at the top of Rosemount hill, with beautiful views of the town and a five minutes' walk to the sights, city walls, and quayside.
The host family was terrific. Greta welcomed us and Thomas is a
veritable encyclopedia of information. Not only Ireland but
knowledgeable about world politics as well. Directed us to the best
sights and even shuttled us to a last minute tour walk of the wall
around Derry. Very resourceful and even secured parking for our car. We
could not be more pleased.
The hosts were welcoming friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotless. Gave us great suggestions for food and music. About a 5 min walk to the sights in Derry. Wonderful Irish breakfast in the morning. Our host was well informed regarding the history of Derry and also gave us some very good suggestions on sights to see in Donegal.
I loved everything about the hotel, it was neat, cosy and beautifully decorated. The family managing it were all kind and helpful, and fun. I would recommend this hotel with all my heart both for romantic getaways, family holiday and friends - a perfect base camp for visiting the Giants causeway and other amazing sights in the Northern Ireland.
Rose Park House is exactly what a BB should be. A real family run guest house which has everything you need. As another reviewer has already said, the owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Twice running us into Derry to avoid parking issues. Helpful as regards places to eat, drink etc.
The accomodation was perfect - very clean, comfy and luxurious. We had a private room out the back with onsite parking and a separate entrance - perfect for any late nights as you won't disturb other guests! I would absolutely recommend it to any of my friends, and would love to stay there again.
I found this B&B excellent. The staff were so helpful and kind, the
room was comfortable and it had the best shower I have had in Ireland.
The location is excellent for visiting the city as well as for doing
longer sightseeing visits out of the city. I felt so looked after here.
This was a great b&b. The room allowed great privacy, the breakfast was great and the location was good. The owner was great...he gave us excellent advice as to the best way to make the most of the city and was so passionate about Derry. I would highly recommend this place.
This is a magic B&B. Luxurious bed, very comfortable room. Host very helpful and friendly. Best of all there is a laundry for guests use complete with dryer. Also very reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend. Within walking distance of city centre.
Our stay was amazing! We stayed on Halloween, all the house was decorated. The room was very nice and confortable. The staff is very nice and helped us when we couldn't check in another B&B the next day. Breakfast was also very good.
The warm friendly welcome we received. The breakfast tasty.the family and
the staff were so good to look after our needs.wish we could have stayed
longer. It was our 1st visit to Derry and what a wonderfull place to
stay.We,ll be back..
From the moment we arrived at Rose Park, my husband and I had good vibes about it. Firstly, it was so clean and well-decorated and secondly because all the staff were really friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome.
Our bed was very comfortable, room decorated tastefully, clean, we had a
very small double room, which we knew before hand so it was expected.
Host Thomas cooked an excellent breakfast and gave us many helpful
directions.
Really friendly, a great place to stay. Room was extremely comfortable and we were well looked after at breakfast. Only a short walk into the centre of Derry, and a short drive to the beautiful countryside in Donegal.
Rose Park House was within easy walking to the centre of Derry. Thomas gave us great advice on how to fill in our day. Ben the boss (dog) gave us a great feeling of being at home. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Rose Park House was a highlight of our stopover in Derry. Mary and family are wonderful hosts. The accommodation is immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. We would stay again and would recommend it to others.
The family who run the Rose Park House treat everyone like part of the family, and were really helpful at helping to plan the next travel routes etc. I had a really comfy single room- very comfy bed. Nice place.
This was a very nice B&B in a quiet location, but still within walking distance to any location in the city. We wish we had more time to talk to the owner, Thomas, as he was a wealth of information.
Guesthouse B&B highly recommendable close to the city centre and main views is ruled by a family that take care of their guests as one more in their family. thanks for a comfortable and kind stay.
Derry is a great city. We only stayed one night and it was very satisfactory. Room was comfortable and bright. Thomas was so very helpful....we had a wonderful walking tour on his recommendation,.
The design and layout of the accommodation was very comfortable, everything was very clean, beds really comfortable, bathroom and shower were top notch, better than hotel showers for sure!.
Host was very warm and friendly. He had loads of knowledge of the area and was willing to spend time to talk to you about it. Provided some good tips of what to do and where to go.
The hospitality shown by the owners, as well as very helpful advice about looking around Londonderry. Accommodation was homely and comfortable. The breakfast was very good too.
Friendly helpful, family run business.
Very clean, fresh and a good family atmosphere.
Owners giving helpful ad vice and shared knowledge of the locality to travelling guests.
Our visit to Rosé Park was very nice. Excellent service and wonderful conversations with the Inn Keeper. Easy walking distance to city center, tours, pubs, and dining.
Owner was very friendly and even drove us into the city of Derry explaining many of the presebt and historical sites. Clean rooms and great food. Very family oriented.
The host was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and efficient. They all provided great insight and advice about Derry which made our visit even more special.
Room was fantastic, big bed, spacious and nice en suite. Welcoming and
extreemly friendly hosts. Beautiful Irish breakfast in the morning.
Would highly recommend !!.
Rooms were clean and warm and nicely designed with a nice bit of character. Good quality shower facilities.
Staff were super friendly and herpful. Very good value.
Thomas, the host was quite knowledgeable about the history of Derry-
Londonderry. He was also very accommodating about parking and made a
terrific porridge.
The hospitality and warmth of Thomas and Joe were exceptional. You feel really at ease and a home from home. Couldn't recommend it enough. Will stay again.
The overall experience was great. Friendly atmosphere, nice beautiful decorated rooms and yummy breakfast :). I would recommend this place to everyone.
A lovely friendly family run guest house. Good location for exploring the City. Would definitely recommend staying here and will return.
Great hosts with lots of local knowledge, made us feel very welcome. Location good and it was only a 5 to 10 minute walk into city centre.
Nicely appointed rooms. Clean and comfortable. Shower actually had some decent pressure which is rare in most B&Bs. Breakfast nice.
Hosts very friendly and happy to tell us about the history and gave good advice on eating out etc. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Off street parking. Close to the city. Fantastic talk from Thomas on The Troubles and The Peace.
Friendly staff. Comfortable bed all the luxury of a large hotel at budget price. I would recommend it..will book again.
The staff were extremely friendly! We had secure parking. The price was definitely right for this great location.
Proximity to town. Very friendly and informative host. Impeccably clean and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast.
rooms to the backside of the street are quiet, very kind owner, 15 min walk to the city, parking area is limited.
The rose park was very comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. We were very near the town centre .
Great B&B. Owner/Operator Thomas is friendly and has a deep passion and understanding of the local history.
Delightful friendly welcome into a comfortable home. The owners could
not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
Everything is good.
We had no complaints at all.
There is nothing that we did not like at Rosé Prk.
Nothing.
No dislikes.
Zero complaints.
Nothing to fault.
Nothing to do with Rose Park House.A Taxi was requested for me to go
shopping.Driver was a kind friendly gentleman and charged the correct
fair.BUT On my return journey with another Taxi I was charged
double,Be wary.Take the owners advice and only book the Taxi company
they recommend.
There really wasn't anything bad to say about our stay. Maybe the only downside is that it's a bit of a walk from the centre but we enjoyed the exercise knowing that when we got back to Rose Park we'd be at home.
It was extremely hard for us to find...we had to stop and ask directions
at least 5 times. There are not too many street signs in Ireland, which
makes it difficult in the big cities.
Nothing to say here.
Loved it all.
Coffee in the room in the morning would be nice.
Everything was great.
We didn't stay long enough.
Directions were a bit confusing.
Tea and biscuits were kindly provided on arrival but tea and coffee making facilities in room would have been appreciated.
Nothing - all good.
Bed was really comfortable breakfast was first class and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Outside noise was loud, but we did stay on a Friday night.
nothing.
I don't have any negative comments.
