O que as pessoas dizem
Location! It's in a quiet side street just next to covent garden,
absolutely brilliant for shopping and going out! They have single-glased
windows but you don't hear a thing from what's going on around
covent garden!
The rooms have a traditional english interior design, which we love! It made the room feel very homely, although it's a little tight!
Helpful, friendly staff. We got offered to have our cases carried up to our room, but they weren't heavy so we didn't mind doing it ourselves. Howev. todos opiniões »
We liked absolutely everything about the Fielding. It's a little bit quirky which makes it even more perfect! Fabulous location, so quiet too! We walked to Spittalfields and beyond and back! We live on the south coast and were woken by seagulls! Felt like home from home. Manageress/owner was so friendly & welcoming, made us feel individual rather than just another guest. Bed was oh-so-comfy, and the shower had a seperate hand-spray too, hooray! 10 out of 10, a little gem!.
If location is your top priority, you'll love this hotel: ideal for getting around the city on foot - museums, galleries, theatres, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious enough, rather dark (two spent light bulbs and a broken window blind didn't help), but it was clean, beds were comfy and there was a wonderful shower in the well-supplied bathroom. Would definitely stay again.
The staff are nice and welcoming, The room (no.31 3rd floor) was very nice and VERY clean. water, slippers and biscuits included. yes, it was a climb to get to the room but they took my heavy bag for me (up and down) so i didn't mind it at all. The location is perfect (1 min from the tube and 5-10 from everything else) I left the hotel very happy with my choice, and I would love to stay there again.
Lovely room which was decorated with a pretty, vintage style - really nice when used to staying in blank modern hotel rooms! The staff at the desk were very friendly and welcoming and let us choose which room we'd like. The location couldn't be better for Covent Garden and the West End. My boyfriend and I were both really, really impressed with what we got for the relatively low price.
Location , Location , Location !!!!
2 min walk from Covent Garden underground
Very close to theaters , shopping area and restaurants.
In weekend the area is full of people and it is nice to walk around.
Facilities
the room is clean and has large shower.
Staff is very helpful and offered help to carry the luggages.
Includes also air condition in case its hot in summer.
The hotel was 2 minutes away from the Royal Opera House. I accidentally booked a double and they were unable to change to a single as the hotel was fully booked. However, the double was better as the single would have been too small. The room hand most amenities except tissues. One had to go out to get breakfast but there were may places to go.
I really liked the decor in my room (number 15). I also liked all the
extra touches such as the toiletries, refreshments, and extra
towels/slippers/eye masks. I loved the location and the ease of
access to Covent Garden - stunning location. I liked the friendly, warm
reception I got when I checked in and out. I just loved my stay - all
too short!.
We loved everything about the Fielding. Central to absolutely everything. You can walk almost the whole of central London. We walked from Covent Gardens to Knightsbridge to shop at Harrods, so easy once you get your bearings. The Fielding staff are brillant, so friendly and helpful. Loved staying there, and will do so again when next in London.
It was a charming hotel in a fantastic location. I was really
apprehensive as I had read some bad reviews after I had booked and could
not cancel without loosing my money however I was relieved when I got
shown to my room - it was lovely. A little overpriced but then you pay
for the fantastic location. I would definately saty again.
The location is wonderful, anyone interested in seeing westend shows,
eating great food, doing the "tourist thing" or just hanging
out at a pub, the hotel is right there for it all. Staff friendly,
although we did little more than check in and out, we did overhear
others asking for directions, etc. and the staff was helpful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent for us.Our room wasn't as grand as the one in the picture but it was on the ground floor whic was great as we had lots of luggage as we were en route from Australia. The receptionist was very helpful when the wi-fi wouldn't work as I had vital work to do.
Quaint and sweet hotel - I even liked the creaky floorboards !!! with lovely touches - including nice toiletries and character decor. Wonderful location in Covent garden. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be in centre of the action and would enjoy a hotel with a bit of english charm to boot too.....
Location, location, location! Opposite, ROH,3mins walk to Covent Garden,5 mins walk to Thames and only few mins more to British Museum! Sitting in lovely, quiet street, with v. friendly, helpful staff, it is a little hidden gem!! Highly recommended, surrounded with many theatres and restaurants too--fantastic!.
Everything. I liked the quiet central location, the efficient and very friendly and intelligent staff, the fact that no food is offered so you aren't paying for food you don't want, the comfort without unnecessary trimmings, the sense of being let alone but that there is always someone to hand if needed.
The location was perfect. All staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.
The 'split level' room was delightful - very cosy but spacious enough for our needs.
We found plenty of really good places for breakfast and, it gave us more flexibility than having breakfast at the hotel anyway.
Fantastic location in the heart of covent garden next to the opera house and market. Rooms very quaint with loads of space was surprised to have such a big room given the location. Less than 10 mins walk to Leicester Square definitly recommend this hotel will stay again 10/10 from us.
This is my favourite hotel in London (and yes, I have stayed at some of the 'big names'): it has lovely rooms, is very clean, great staff and an unbeatable location (particularly for the Opera House, which is why I visit Covent Garden). I shall return again ... and again.
Very lovely period fittings excellently designed very comfortable boutique style rooms. Plenty of good quality complementary refreshments in room - tea coffee bottled water. Friendly helpful staff. Great quiet off road location but right in vibrant covent Garden.
The central location - excellently placed for the tube with Covent Gdn station only a 2 min walk away. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent facilities in the room - plenty of electricity sockets, tea/coffee/water etc, air conditioning, sanitary products.
The hotel was perfectly situated for our needs. It was clean, warm and very quiet. The room was well presented with ample towels and tea/coffee making facilities and with excellent wi-fi access.
The bed was comfortable although a little firm.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, only too pleased to give recommendations on what to do, where to go. Great location and very clean and comfortable. I would definately stay there again (hopefully i will get the chance.).
Fab location, and very clean and nice room, would stay again. Bit expensive as no breakfast and could do with breakfast there.plenty of drinks in room, including bottled water.was told if wanted more just ask. Very good.
Handiest hotel for covent garden, british museum, drury lane etc. Staff friendly and at desk all the time. We could leave our bags before and after. Rooms small but nicely furnished. Very little noise for the area.
Extremely helpful and polite staff. We were given a free upgrade of room with extra seating area. Location is excellent for shopping and theatres yet quiet enough in a little side street that was easy to locate.
The staff were excellent, the room was impecibly clean, facilties were
good and the location was excellent. Really close to Covent Garden for
shopping etc, just a short walk away, but still a peaceful location.
Hotel was in a very central location - convenient to the tube (3 minute walk), plus to the theatres and good restaurants. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was comfortable, and very clean.
As a solo traveler this Hotel was excellent all round.Great location, I was very comfortable and felt secure. When I make my next visit to this area of London this Hotel will be my first choice.
In the heart of Covent Garden, 5 min walk from Charing Cross. I stayed in the split level room and had little extra room with sofa and TV which made a room unusual and quirky. Lovely interior.
Location, location, location! The staff was wonderful. No elevator just
prepared us for two weeks of pounding the pavement in London and Paris.
Just our style! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Excellent location in the middle of Covent Garden area, but just off a main road, so quiet.
Plenty of places to eat including breakfast.
Well presented rooms, and clean. 24 hour reception.
Very clean and tidy. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Venue very handy for pubs, restaurants, underground and theatre's. Good tea making facilities and toiletries both well replenished.
Superb location - we were going to the Royal Opera House - 150yards! Great staff, clean rooms, a little quirky, charming. Good restaurants within yards, some well recommended by the hotel.
What a lovely find. the staff were warm and welcoming and the accommodation fabulous especially the small finishing touches like the eye shades, slippers, complimentary water and biscuits.
Location, location, location.
Helpful and friendly staff, especially Grace.
Nice rooms with lots of extras including AC, tea set up, free wifi.
Will hold bags at check in and check out.
The hotel was lovely, room was very quirky which we liked. Staff very
friendly. Excellent location with Covent Garden market on the door step
and major sights within walking distance.
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable accommodation also the Hotel is ideally situated for exploring all the lovely sights. We will definitely visit your Hotel again..
Excellent location, 30 seconds from Covent Garden Market.
Lovely decor throughout the hotel and rooms.
Very friendly staff and allowed us to leave bags after checking out.
lovely room and great location all the staff are very helpful my daughter and myself really enjoyed our stay and we cant wait for our next one at this fab hotel.
Early check in (1pm)
Late check out (11am)
Location
Really big room with seperate work space
Lots of complimentary drinks
Lovely clean bathroom and great shower.
Excellent location. Small and quaint hotel perfect for me and my teenage daughter on our visit to London. Friendly staff; clean; tea, coffee and water provided.
The staff at front desk especially grace and Sam were wonderful. Full of
great information and more than happy to assist st all times. Thank you
fielding hotel.
Location in Covent Garden was fabulous. Situated in quiet pedestrian area, no traffic noise. Excellent value for money. Very nice and helpful front desk staff.
Friendly staff and the room was comfortably furnished. Especially liked the Queen size very comfortable bed and good stock of tea and coffee making facilities.
The room and location were superb. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. Liked the fact we could leave our key with the receptionist while we went out.
Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Good facilities well stocked drinks and toiletries. Clean towels and bedding. Already recommended to family and friends.
Fabulous location, near theatres and restaurants. Very friendly staff, nice room with all we needed. Pedestrian lnle location in frantic London is a winner.
location, staff, price, clean, free internet ( that works). Been in many hotels in London, and this is the best deal, location-price-quality-service wise.
Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and bottled water provided.
Great location, lovely room, friendly and helpful staff. Probably the quietest city hotel I have ever stayed in. Would recommend and stay again.
You pay for the location! But we only stayed one night and had plans in
that area, so we didn't mind to pay the extra money to get us to
places quicker! If we would have stayed more than two nights, I think we
would have picked somewhere else.
On first site the bathroom looks nice and clean, but in the corners and on the edges, especially in the shower, things are starting to fall apart, but my eye is trained in that because I worked in architecture and now in real estate!.
If relaxing in your hotel after a long day exploring the city is a priority, this may not be the hotel for you. No dining room, bar or communal space in the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby, but if you're travelling as a group, just be aware that there's no place to sit and chat in this hotel other than your bedrooms (which tend to be on the small side). If you're happy to be out all day and just want a nice, central hotel to sleep in, you'll love it.
the only thing is that the bag storage room (where they keep your bags before check-in) is available for everyone to go in whenever they want (the communal fridge is in there) so your bags are not as safe as they could be.
(you can lock your small bags in a locker safely, but not the big bags)
so be sure to lock your suitcase if you need to leave your bags.
The staff is great but I never trust other guests with my belongings..
minor matter - there is no elevator.
There were no tissues provided and one had to use toilet paper to blow one's nose. There was no view. There was a leak from upstairs which came down on the table with my laptop. Although management dry cleaned my pants which were directly below the leak I felt they might have been more attentive to any damage to the computer which did get splattered, but which I didnt' note until afterwards.
I was not keen on the main staircase - it looked a bit 1970s but not in
a chic way. Perhaps the banisters need to be replaced with someone more
period? I was not keen on the amount of street noise I could hear from
my room (due to revellers walking down the street by the hotel so not in
the hotel's gift to sort but annoying none the less!.
There was refurbishment going on during the day that we were not made
aware of when we booked which was on the same floor as our room and was
pretty noisy however they finished at 5 and at the end of the day it
will improve the Hotel.
Bed was a bit short, but we managed.
The wi-fi was very unreliable which did cause some problems but as I said the receptonist sorted that out for me.
Nothing really.... it was a very appealing hotel... would have liked a feather pillow - but the four others to choose from were adequate....I would stay here again.
Tiny entrance and reception desk can sometimes get overloaded, but no big deal!.
Nothing, except that I couldn't stay longer.
Nothing 100% satisfied.
Nothing.
Having to go out for breakfast.
Room was small as were the stairs. I wouldn't book it if you're a bit on the large side.
Would have preferred a room with a stand alone bath as pictured but that's not really anything to complain about as everything else was more than agreeable. Would not hesitate to re- book this hotel.
We did have a couple of problems with the facilities such as a loose
wire in the tv (which was fixed very quickly), the tv in the bath
wasn't working properly and one of the curtain ropes was missing.
There were some very loud people outside of the corridor early in the
morning (around 6.30-7am).
Staircase is very narrow and my two rooms were really tiny.
Some folk may find the rooms too "compact" compared with what you get e.g. in the States
BUT - room size was fair enough for central London in my opinion.
Be aware three floors so lots of stairs.....no lift. However staff willing to help with bags.
No lounge/bar. However, there are dozens within walking distance.
It would have been nice to have a full length mirror in the room.
No lift - a chore, not a problem.
No ice machine.
My only complaint is that the sink in the bathroom was very slow to
drain. We did report it but it wasn't fixed. Did not in any way
spoil our stay though.
Nothing really.
A lounge area would have been nice to relax in.
A bit disconcerting to be given your room key without any obvious checking of who you are.
Thin walls (could hear adjacent conversations). Air con unit flashed green light throughout night.
Nothing!.
Nothing.
I liked very much the hotel, but no elevator at least for bags when you travel with a big, heavy or many bags.
Nothing.
