The Lime Tree was a great place to stay as a base for the Scottish Highlands. The room was comfortable, and had a great view of the little harbour of Fort William. An added bonus was the excellent dinner in the hotel. the receptionist was very helpful with directions to the local pubs etc. -

Very friendly owners, did a lot of effort to advise on places to see. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the loch. Although the trip way up to the guesthouse would be tough on foot, by car it is no problem and you are away from the traffic noise of the main road, which is not the case for so many B&Bs located in the neighbourh

A very enjoyable stay at Lochview House. Wonderful view of the Loch from the sitting .room. Very helpful advice and tips of places to visit from the owner, comfortable and clean room together with a great breakfast - would definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends.

i liked the location and everything you needed was right next to us,i had my young son with us and what i also liked was the security in the building ,because my son has downs syndrum we have to keep a close eye on him,i only stayed a couple of nights but would have stayed a bit longer ,but finances for the inn was just enough as i have 5 boys lol

space to move around in. I also like the fact that there was plenty of
hot water available in the morning at a time when a lot of people would
have been using it. The bathroom was nice and roomy and also very
clean. I liked the idea of the soap dispensers at the bath and the
sink. All in all, I enjoyed very much my one night stay there and would
go back again.

Lovely setting overlooking the loch. Wifi from room was excellent. Chocolates on arrival. Shortbread and tea in room. Very nice bathroom. Roomy with heated floor. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the porridge and my own pot of hot chocolate. Short drive to Ben Nevis trailhead for hiking. Excellent location for running along loch, restaurants, shopping.

My originally allocated room had an electrical fault ( kettle wouldn't boil but it turned out to be the circuit ) and I was immediately moved by the manager. The new room was at the front and I gained a view to the loch. The TV in the new room didn't work properly but that was sorted quickly too.
The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts good with cheery and friendly staff.

Luckily we had very good weather and hence could enjoy the sceneries in and around Fort William. Mrs Pam had informed us how to locate them, which was very helpful. The rooms and the B&B in general was so spick and span, which we have never seen in other hotels. She took care of us, providing us with packed breakfast since we had to leave to airport early morning. Detailing she did to each rooms is commendable. We had a great time in Ardlinnhe B&B and in Fort William.
