  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   Wow! Such a friendly group of staff. The staff couldn't have tried any harder - they genuinely were a friendly and helpful bunch - Premier Inn should be very proud of them. Well done! The breakfast was wonderful, and again, the staff in the restaurant were fantasti - We had a family room for 4 and were kind of packed into the room but it worked fine - after all, we were out seeing London except when we were sleeping! Our favorite thing was the breakfasts served in the dining room each morning and the fact that they were free for our two teenagers (free for 16 and under).
