We arrived at 9 am and were given a room at 10:30 am and the reception staff were trying to get the room ready ASAP and in the meantime we were asked to wait in the club lounge while the room was being prepared. We had a king room with bed split to two twins and travelling with friend - very adequate space. - The Ashburn Hotel is conveniently located in Kensington and a few steps from the Piccadilly Line and easy access to the west end. All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.
