  We stayed for 3 nights last week, and can honestly say it was fantastic, wish we could have stayed longer! Very good food in the bar both for dinner and breakfast, we ate there every day, excellent selection, and so nice to see veggie options! The hotel was well positioned in Bournemouth with excellent facilities, 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Ideal fo - Excellent location - as it is only a short 10 minutes walk into Bournemouth. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the fitness and spa facilities are fantastic. I made use of the fitness room, swimming pool, poolside jacuzzi, steam room and sauna on each of the days my partner and I stayed at the Meyrick Park Lodge. I would definitely recommend this hotel with its brilliant facilities to my family and friends.

  Absolutely everything was positive. The Deb Team enjoyed their stay and praised everything from; how spottlessly clean the hotel and rooms were, the extremely friendly service we received during our stay and the quality of the breakfast.   7 of us, all girls, stayed at the Croydon hotel as we were in Bournemouth celebrating a birthday for the weekend. Everything was perfect, we were made to feel welcome and well looked after. We didn't make breakfast on the first morning but were given a voucher to have breakfast at the local pub which we thought was a great idea!   I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10 mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily. Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again.

The room (12) was large, well set up for a family of 1 or 2 adults and 2 children as there is a king size double bed and two singles, with a pannelled wall separating adults from children, whilst still being in the same room. Hotel very clean and comfy for a family break.
