The location so close to the city centre. The staff professional, curteous, kind & could not do enough to ensure my Mum & I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious plenty of choice. We had a huge room - loved the canopy bed. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The mint on the pillow was a really nice touch! - The four poster bed and size of the room made the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Room was so beautiful we wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel bit far from centre but we liked it that way. Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer. ... o que as pessoas dizem » y, freshly squeezed orange juice would be nice. - It was a great place to stay and the little finishing touches were wonderful.Each room had a small box full of items you may have forgotten such as a toothbrush,razor,scissors etc which i thought was a very thoughtful touch.The decor was very in keeping with the period of the Bath architecture and the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very nice and the breakfast was lovely.

What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.).

Free speedy internet access. Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. -

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill.
Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

lived there for many years.They took to the time to make us feel
extremely welcome and informed my girlfriend and I about where was good
to visit in the city, whether it be a bar, restaurant or tourist
attraction. The 4 poster room we stayed in, was bright, clean, extremely
comfortable and had a aired of wealth about it. We had a great weekend
away and the hotel/owners played a strong part in this.
