Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.

It is located in a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel). I made several calls prior the trip to ensure that we could get a high chair and cot for our baby and the staff remembered me and were very friendly. - The apartment was fantastic, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was stocked with basic essentials. Parking was great too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definately use this apartment/hotel complex again.

  STAFF WERE SO HELPFULL ADVISING WHERE TO GO WITH CHILDREN AGED 6 AND 13 THEY REALLY ENJOYED DYNAMIC EARTH ALSO ABLE TO GET IN EARLY AS STAFF HAD JUST FINISHED CLEANING, BUT HAD BEEN ADVISED WE COULD LEAVE BAGS IF ARRIVING EARLY THIS WAS VERY HELPFULL BECAUSE WE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN.
