I liked the welcome that we got when we first arrived. The room was superb very cosy and warm feeling. The staff were excellent especially Dave the owner. the breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of it. My husband had the full English and there was loads on it, I am weight watching and they supplied me with my request of a light breakfast without que

The attention to detail was outstanding, we could have relaxed at this Guesthouse for a further week If we had the time, David (owner)- greeted us on arrival and was Very helpfull at all times. Well needed, Relaxing break from London.

The whole stay was an event. Checking in late meant having to enter the guest house by codes through gates made it very different. The room was well equipped and not what I expected bearing in mind the age of the property. Shower was hot and powerful after walking from the car park in the rain this was very welcome. Staff and breakfast was excelle

The whole experience was enjoyable. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, they really have thought of absolutely everything, and the breakfast was amazing. I have never had anything like it, I didn't eat again until 7pm - Absolutely stunning! The Old Rectory really is in a class of it's own. Immaculate! Fantas
