This was a return visit after calling for a meal one Sunday several months ago we were so impressed that we said we would return for an evening meal and as it is 60 miles away from us decided to stay over night so I chose to celebrate my birthday there and we were not disappointed Angie and her staff made us so welcome even arranging a bouquet of flowers in our room from my husband on our arrival. A friendly welcome awaits at this pub. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean and well presented. The owners have gone to a lot of effort to make this an enjoyable stay. Good Italian food on site. Stylish bar with real ale. I wish I could have stayed longer. Would recommend for the money and would definitely stay again.
Nothing was a problem. Checked in very late. Breakfast was first class beautiful full English and the Italian omelette was the winner!

Very friendly and enjoyed a visit from my two year old twin grand children,almost as much as I did I would suggest a few coasters in the bedroom to protect the furniture as tea making facilities were provided.

Tv in breakfast room adjoining residential rooms but poor reception with only channels 1 and 2 watchable.
No staff available at 7am to check out. Had to find my own way out via a fire exit when the main doors were locked.
