Our daughter (20 months) would not settle and the staff kindly heated a bottle of milk (after midnight) and gave me a separate room to go with her so my husband could sleep before driving in the morning. They really were so accommodating and went beyond what most other hotels would ever do. We could not fault them in their friendliness or service. A really lovely find, not expected to be so good as the price was quite reasonable. They laid on a mini bus for us to go into the city to watch Bruce Springsteen and all the staff were so friendly, we'd come back and stay here if we were visiting the area again!.
todos opiniões » The room was located in a separate building, which had its own car parking area. It was very big, with spacious and clean bathroom and all the necessary equipment. The breakfast was very good and the overall package rationally priced. Staff excellent particularly the Bar and waiting staff. The room was lovely. There were a few weddings on during our stay and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nice, friendly, relaxed and enjoyable stay - Thank you. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff very welcoming. We had our evening meal which was delicious and there was a varied choice for breakfast. The service was excellent. Breakfast finishing too early for us on the Saturday morning!. Bed was too short - I am 6'6". Noise from Bar Milano smokers. Settee very uncomfortable could do with being replaced due to sagging. Toilet seat needs adjusting also could do with a hand rail to get into the shower as floor very slippery. Keyboard on computer in reception area very dusty and dirty, requires as good clean. The coat hangers in the wardrobe needed replacing. They failed to hold up our clothing!. n/a. Nothing. Drop down bed which was very low to the ground but was very comfortable.Hotel was full when we stayed so we couldn't be moved, however we still enjoyed our stay and will be back. Only downside was our room was on the top floor and close to the water tank. When people were using water in the morning we got an unexpected wake up call as the tank refilled Would not put us off staying again but not on the t op floor. The rubberised under blanket. Though it was easily removed. It made the bed very hot. We didn't like the seating area in the bar. Need for better signage coming from west to east. WiFi signal very poor in room, bathroom cold. No comment. Cold shower. Thought the bed was slightly hard. Cooked breakfast was the only let down to greasy. rooms were a bit tired décor wise. Internet does not work in exterier buildings. I wont use the hotel again because of this. Food was ordinary. Cigarette ends outside main door makes it look shabby. We booked the Hamilton Suite and were disappointed in a few disappointing aspects of the room, matress very hard, toilet seat fell off and had to be put back together plug socket for the hairdryer not working. We didn't like returning to the hotel and having to walk through a wall of smoke created by guests attending a function who were stood in the entrance to the hotel. Beds were very firm and I didnt sleep too well.Bathroom sealant messy ie poorly redone and staining around inside of bathroom door needs redoing.Hairs in bath and around shower door not nice! If I could spot them surely the cleaner could have too. Asked for quiet room as attending a family funeral. Told "the hotel is full today" and nothing more was offered. I had requested this on the original booking Overall it is a nice place but the smaller details not being managed let it down. Poor Internet connection (none in the restaurant) Restaurant. typical rip off hotel prices in bar. I requested soft pillows as my wife has a neck problem and could not sleep as the ones supplied were too hard. They were not supplied & she had to suffer a second sleepless night. Unfriendly bar and reception staff Noisy floorboards in the room above kept us awake all night Price of glass of wine extortionate [£6.10].
