  Spent three nights in the Great Malvern Hotel. As others have said don't be put off by the look of the building.Staff are very friendly and helpfull. Rooms are of a good size and being redecorated at this time. Food is excellent all you can eat for breakfast. The bar gets lively most nights with entertainment good selection of real ales. The food was first class and breakfast was cooked to order. The Hotel is in the centre of Malvern, has a friendly bar a snug and a very comfortable lounge. Car parking is limited but first come first served. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  We have enjoyed staying at Holdfast Cottage several times in the past decade and this visit was no exception. It is located in the countryside near Welland, well away from noise and distractions, yet Malvern, with its facilities and services, is only a few minutes drive away. The 17th century building has great charm (with a gorgeous wisteria), sits in a large garden, and is nicely appointed. The - I was given a warm welcome & shown to my room, which was in the original part of the building. It was large & very light with large windows on two sides, one of which overlooked the lovely garden. My room appeared freshly decorated, with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized bathroom, again light & with a window. Breakfast was good. I'll definitely be back when in the area.
