Well what can I say? I am truly sceptical of reading other people's
reviews as you simply just don't know what you will get until you
get there but this place is simply paradise!
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and warmly greeted by both Jolyon and Laurence who made us feel relaxed and at home. They are truly dedicated and extremely helpful, nothing seems to much bother.

This place is amazing! We were made to feel very welcome by Jolyon and Lawrence. The house and grounds are designed impeccably, with a beautiful garden/terrace space and lounge for relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish, with stunning duel aspect views of the countryside. The breakfast was divine with homemade bread and fresh produce. We loved the pets too, great dog friendly place to stay!.
We had a very relaxing stay at Shoyswell Cottage. Jolyon was very helpful and made a reservation for us to have dinner at a local hotel. We enjoyed the company of Tiny and Lola at breakfast. Looking forward to a return visit next year.
The warm welcome, the relaxing and beautiful setting, the clean and comfortable room the attention to detail. We'd had a really busy day and a long journey; our stay at Shoyswell cottage was a lovely peaceful interlude.
The ambiance was amazing and the hosts could not have been more attentive and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would not hesitate to stay there again.

There was tea in our room but no coffee and was a little grossed out by the dogs doing the "pre-wash" in the dishwasher - you have to love dogs here!.
