The B&B was in a fantastic location. Just a short walk from Holyrood Park where you can walk up Arthur's Seat. Also about a 25 minute walk into the city centre or very close to a bus stop where buses leave regularly, never had to wait more than 5 mins for a bus. The B&B itself was immaculate and the room was well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The owners were very helpful. The Clarin was a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh. It is conveniently located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just south of the city by a short bus ride. It was easy to find by bus from the airport as well. The breakfasts were fit for a king and the amenities were equally as marvelous. Definitely one of the most impressive places we have stayed in.

I liked the location, not to far from the downtown core yet you are
even closer to the mountains. Andy was so helpful on the day that we
arrived providing us with directions on how to get around and where to
find things. Our rooms were wonderful a whole family could have slept
on our room. Breakfast offered a number of choices and what we had was
very good.
Andy and Kim were amazing! Kim sat us down when we arrived and gave us all the details we needed about the bus system and attractions. Breakfast was great, and even my bottomless of a husband was stuffed. It's well connected to the city, we never waited more than three minutes to get on a bus.
Our room was amazing! Huge, clean and cozy. The staff was very helpful
and friendly. The hotel is close to a bus stop, just 10 minutes to the
city centre. Good value for money. I recommend it to anyone! Absolutely

A wonderful welcome, lovely decoration, clean and if we were to have breakfast, the menu looked fantastic. Regular buses in and out of town so location not a problem.

In our room the door of the shower cabin had a slight gap, so the floor was sometimes wet, when you don't pay attention. Other than that was absolutely amazing.
Pillowsheets could have been cleaner, and breakfast was perhaps a bit spartan.
The check in check out times but they let you self check-in so it's all good :).

there were lots of "helpful" little notices about closing doors quietly etc. Most of us don't need to be reminded how to behave and those that do wouldn't take much notice.
