Great value for the price, efficient staff and clean room. Exactly what you want from a single-night stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good food, quiet area. It's proximity to the centre of Edinburgh. Clean, friendly, convenient for city centre. Cheap and good location. I didn't like the piped music at breakfast. Also, i would like to have had the option of hot milk with my coffee. One small point - Breakfast wasn't served until 8.30am by which time I had left the hotel to go to the airport. There was no reduction in the cost of the price of the room or any alternative breakfast provided that I was aware of. No soap in the bathroom was a bit of a let down.Nothing. The room and breakfast were fine, but I thought it a little over priced given it is just a guest house and not a 'normal' hotel with bar and dining facilities.shower broken, tv broken. I was unlucky enough to book a single room. It was ok but pretty small and very old furniture. Bathroom across the hallway and shower didn't work on one of the mornings. Was cheap though so reasonable value considering its location.
