O que as pessoas dizem
From the moment you arrive until the time you leave, Barbara and Ian succeed in creating a "feeling at home"-experience. Nothing is for sale but everything is available upon simple request. Or even without asking: Barbara and Ian just seem to know what you want.
There are definitely more boutique-type B&B's (that cost twice as much), or B&B's that could earn a designer award (that hopefully match your own taste), or B&B's with bigger lounges (and more rooms of course), or B&B's . todos opiniões »
My husband and I had a wonderful time there in our Easter holiday. Ian
and Barbara are amazing hosts. Very nice people, super friendly, they
really make you feel at home. It was our first B&B experience and we
don`t regret going...the B&B is in a very good location although it
is not inside Inverness and to be honest that didn`t bothers us at all
because we wanted to explore the Highlands and it is impossible to do it
without renting a car anyway no matter where you stay. All the bedroo.
A wonderful B & B property in the most amazing surroundings.
Room was very smart and modern - yet at the same time warm and homely, a very generous size - but at the sime time cosy. The out of the window overlooked the woodlands - giving opportunity to chance a sight of all manner of wildlife that is attracted to the surrounding area.
Barbara was most welcoming and we felt very well looked after and 'at home' - as well as enjoying Barbara's enthusiasm for all the local widlife....
The gar.
Everything about our week with Graineag B&B was amazing. The location is perfect for most things, the house is lovely with a great family feel and the facilities are exactly what you need. Barbara and Iain are the best hosts with help from their little sprocker, Sammie. They made us feel welcome the whole time. Unlike most B&Bs who issue a curfew and "house rules", Barbara and Iain are very flexible and as long as you respect them and their house they are very easy going. The rooms are .
Me and my husband went there for our 8th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed by Barbara she was delightful. She is very open and very helpful, having lived in Scotland most of her life she was able to give advice on the best places to visit. The room and en suite were really big and very comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed and had wi-fi access if required. The breakfast was lovely with both a cooked and a continental on offer every day at whatever time you liked. The bnb is in a .
Barbara and Ian were terrific hosts. Home cooked breakfast that were fantastic and served when you like. They look out for the welfare of their guests and are welcoming and friendly with suggestions on where to go and what to see if you ask. Large rooms with views of the woods and wildlife. bathroom has places for everything with shelves thoughtfully placed and spotlessly clean throughout, If you like being in the countryside in a rural setting this location along with the extreme care and co.
Exceptional, very easy to find on the main road to Skye. Every facility including a silent fridge and sky TV in the room. Our room had a super king bed and we slept wonderfully. The breakfast was everything you could wish for. The massive bonus for us was the wild life. We sat in the conservatory and saw a huge variety of birds and a PINE MARTIN. There are otters using the stream that runs through the garden. As we were leaving we saw RED SQUIRRELS playing by the road side. Without the wild lif.
Everything, best place we stayed on our recent tour of Scotland. Barbara and Ian make you extremely welcome, our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was beautiful and had everything that you would need. Breakfast was indeed a "full" Scottish breakfast, though must admit we only had a cooked breakfast once as the cold choice was just as tempting. Thank you Barbara & Ian for a great stay, hope to see you again.
Barbera and Ian were wonderful hosts and the dog was also a lovely suprise as we have a dog of our own.
The room we stayed in had a great layout and feels homely. The bathroom was massive with excellent facilities. The location is right in the heart of a Forrest stream. Excellent viewing while having a breakfast. Wonderful place to say and I wish we had stayed longer.
If we travel to scotland, we will stay again.
Great place to stay just in between Loch Ness and Isle of Skye. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Room is big, looks good and romantic with a few extras (such as an iPod dock). We even had chocolate chip cookies with our coffee/tea on arrival. ;-)
Bed sleeps wonderful and the bathroom is clean and spacious. We were spoiled with a custom breakfast two days in a row. All in all this B&B is pretty amazing.
You could not meet or have better people looking after you , Barbara and Ian where perfect hosts and the breakfast was a beautiful start to the day and plentiful . Barbara and Ian know all the places to visit and things to see and the rooms are fantastic even to the smallest detail of a fridge in the room which was nice touch, all in all we had a fantastic time and are planning to go back in the near future.
This bed and breakfast is really lovely. The couple who manage it is very friendly and everything is made with love and care. I can recommend this house to everybody if I can go back there without any doubt I would book again. I liked everything there, the garden, location, breakfast, owners,it has been a pleasure spend our time there.
We liked and enjoyed the whole experience of our stay at Graineag. Barbara and Ian are very friendly and helpful owners. The quality and cleanliness of their home is first rate. Superb breakfast! The location is quiet and relaxing just what we needed. Many thanks Barbara and Ian for being so friendly. Highly recommend to all!.
This is perfect for a quiet time in a natural environment but with a cafe next door. Our room was modern, spacious, clean and charming.
The location is ideal for travel to the Inverness area in the E., to the west up to Skye and to the beautiful Glen Afric area in the N.
The host is genuinely warm, friendly and very helpful.
Barbara and Ian treat all their guests as family. They provided tour routes and gave detailed explanations and pamphlets. The house and room are spotlessly clean, the grounds are beautiful. We spent a wonderful three days in their home and would love to return. It is the best B&B we have ever visited.
The Staff (Barbara and Ian) is very kind and thoughtful toward the guests.
Our room was absolutely perfect, very large, totally clean and with new efficient equipment.
The breakfast was fantastic!!!
The house is surrounded by the green, it's not so difficult to find it following Ian's instructions.
Both my partner and I really enjoyed our stay,Barbara was the perfect host she was friendly and very helpfull. We stayed in one of the larger rooms and it was perfect. I would highly recommend Graineag Bed And Breakfast to anyone and both my partner and I will be returning in the future.
Barbara the hostess was the best of all the places we stayed.
She was friendly and very helpful with places to go and how to get there, It was our frist English breakfast and the best! A very beatiful setting along a stream. Great large bathroom which was hard to find in B&B's.
Barbara and Ian are lovely and we enjoyed our time with them. The grounds are equally beautiful if you like nature. Fun to look out at breakfast and see a pheasant walking thru the woods. Food was great. Room was great. The best B&B during would two week vacation.
The room is very clean, big and confortable.
The owner, Barbara, is a charming and very helpful person. It's so nice to enjoy a delicious home made breakfast while talking to her in front of the stunning view of the river.
Highly recommended.
Very nice situation in the woods, we could watch birds in the garden while eating the very good breakfast. Beautiful room, nice welcome and kindness from the hosts, near Loch Ness and not too far from Isle of Skye, it was a perfect stay!.
Clean, friendly, large well equipped room including silent running small fridge, with fresh milk and spring water provided. Bathroom had large shower cubicle and bath. Barbara always anxious to make sure her guests enjoyed their stay.
The best B&B we've stayed in. First class service and Barbara had so much knowledge of the area we hardly needed a map! First class breakfast, comfy beds, Beautiful garden with lovely views. What more could anyone want?!!.
Very comfortable room with an en-suite bigger than most family bathrooms.

I didn`t like to leave and now I miss Barbara`s perfect scramble eggs.
Nothing it was perfect!.
No possible criticism, if someone complains about Graineag they must have unrealistic expectations.
Having to leave as we should have booked more than one night, next time we will stay longer.
Not a thing.
Everything was perfect.
nothing.
It was a little out of the way but well worth the extra travel time.
The bed was a little soft for us.
We spent just one day...
Sharing breakfast table with other guests, although on our second day Barbara put us on our own table as we requested.
Not having a longer stay <g>.
- absolutely nothing.
