  The quality of the food, the service and the friendliness of the hotel staff were all superb. The Hotel was immaculately clean and all the facilities were of the highest quality.   Staying at James Cottage can only be described as a wonderful experience. The cottage is beautiful and family friendliness is not just a word but the case. The family room is light and friendly with games for the children. Our children (2/7) immediately felt at home and connected with Michael the host. It is him who makes a stay at James Cottage so relaxing and special. - Staying at James Cottage was like staying at the house of a friend or member of the family. What a wonderful older house with real character, an Michael giving us such a warm welcome to his home. Also 10 out of 10 for an excellent 'full Scottish' breakfast. Michael's parting phrase - "Haste ye back" ..... we'll be sure to call next time we're in Crieff.
