Located in the beautiful valley village of Combe Martin, Riverside hotel is within 200 metres of the sandy beach and local pubs and shops. Just a 5-minute drive away is Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Watermouth Castle.
Scenic walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside, and boats travelling to Lundy Island leave from Ilfracombe's harbour, which is 10 minutes' drive away. Arlington Court, a 19th-century country house, is a 15-minute drive from Riverside.
A TV with a DVD player is included in the traditionally decorated lounge and the compact kitchen includes a microwave and a washing machine. There is a hairdryer and a shower in the private bathroom.

Wad like walking into an Aladdins cave with a nice surprise in each room. The kids loved it with games and books to keep them occupied. Would definitely book again.
The apartment was large and convenient with a very well equipped kitchen. It was close to both shops and beach.

Couldn't find an iron board. But with so many nooks and crannies I'm sure its there somewhere.
The carpets really need a good clean which would make all the difference to the overall quality.The approach to the front door had a slightly depressing feel.
Not having a place to park your car is a problem but a car park is just 2 minutes down the road which of course costs a lot if you are not going to be away from the place during the day.
Some noise issues as property has single glazed windows.
Hall and stairways a bit shabby.
a few cleaning issues, the owners really did their best to resolve them.
it did smell of damp. and was a bit quirky.
