Trimnells House also includes a traditionally furnished breakfast room and lounge, where guests can relax with the 40-inch TV with Freeview. There are 2 pubs in the village, where guests can go for lunch and dinner except on Sunday evenings. Free parking is available, and the village of Colerne provides numerous local amenities within easy walking distance. Bath is a 20-minute drive away, whilst picturesque Castle Combe and Lacock are approximately 15 minutes’ drive away.

We had such a lovely stay at the Trimnells House. The owners were so kind and hospitable! They even went out of their way to make us breakfast early one morning when we had to catch a flight. The room was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was delicious! We loved the town of Colerne, our visit to Bath, and Castle Combe was just beautiful. Loved it and would definitely love to stay again!!.
todos opiniões » After a very long day exploring Bath we arrived quite late and tired, but we were welcomed like old friends, made to feel very much at home. The room was tastefully decorated , clean and spacious. breakfast was excellent and even a request for extra toast was met with a friendly smile. The gardens are classic english cottage style and add to the restful atmosphere. Just a great place to stay. We had a very spacious and comfortable room with beautiful amenities. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Trimnells is set in a very historically interesting area and is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside. The host was helpful and suggested several sites to visit within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. This was one of the most beautiful B & B's we stayed in on our trip to the UK. The room was huge and the bathroom gorgeous with superb fittings. The house was in a beautiful garden setting in a quiet village close to Bath. The village was very quaint with two great pubs for dinner. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our hosts were really welcoming and the large bedroom was light and airy, warm and very comfortable. We loved the area and especially Trimnells' garden and chickens! Delicious breakfasts with scrummy newly laid eggs. Being in a village out of Bath and the proprietor was helpful and cheerful.The room was large and airy,with a large enough bathroom. Breakfasts were good and you could order what ever you wanted the previous evening and it was cooked after you had cereals etc. Sue and Mark provided a very welcoming atmosphere and were helpful in a number of ways. The home was exactly as described and very relaxing. The location was quiet but a trip to Bath was minutes away. We have already told friends about it. We had a really spacious, clean, light, comfortable and well decorated triple room with pleasant views of the garden.The owners are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay at Trimnells House again. I loved my stay. Village location was great if you want to get a feel for local village life. The local pub was rustic with good food and friendly owners and customers. Country is pretty with some good walks. Our room was spacious and the hosts, Sue and Mark, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Trimnells House is located in a quiet, quaint village only ten minutes from Bath. Sue and Mark very helpful,contacted me prior to my stay to confirm my requirements.Gave me the number of a local taxi(Steve,also a great guy)all in all, did everything to make our stay a good one. Great walking trails, close proximity to Badminton, the traditional village setting, and I liked driving on local roads and avoiding highways.Thoroughly enjoyed a great breakfast every day. The layout of the Family room. The cleanliness of the whole house. The lovely towels and bathroom soaps/lotion. The friendly family that run the house. The tasty breakfast. Very quiet place and nice old house. Room was good. We stayed familiy of 4 and enjoyed the stay. If you like quiet atmosphere, this is the best place we can recommend. If you intend to visit Bath be aware that car parking is quite expensive, you will need plenty of pound coins as the ticket machines do not accept notes.This is not a problem as long as you are prepared!. I liked everything but would point out that the Trimmels is a fair way out of Bath and you do need your own transport to get to the tourist attractions there. Would've like a TV channel which showed Badminton Horse trials. Bed just a double, bit small. Loose gravel in drive, awful for bikers. nothing. Nothing to dislike!!. Nothing really, just don't let satnav take you there from the southern side A4 Bath Road unless you're a glutton for punishment or in a 4 by 4!. TV service Bed springs No response to hall bell (when got no TV) Poor signage from road - missed it completely. Nothing. Wifi could be improved (often hampering/no contact). Nothing. leaving. N/A. There was nothing we did not like. Only small gripe. Curtains do not keep out much light, so difficult to sleep after 4 a.m. there wasnt anything not to like only the weather which cant change. stairs, no attendance after hours. nothing. bedroom furniture poor condition needs replacing.Plumbing noises from other rooms could be heard and disturbs sleep.Cooking smells,ie fried breakfasts,could be smelt in the dining room. Does not compare with either Barn.Cottage or Lorne House for quality or value.

If using satellite navigation systems, please enter the village from the North side of Colerne, via Bath Road, which runs through Colerne and Thickwood between the A420 and A4. Click on "show map" at the top of the screen to see the Bath Road and Trimnells House location. To ensure you use this road use the "find alternative route" facility to avoid 'Watergates' and 'Tutton Hill' if they appear as part of your route on GPS. They are single track roads and not good, particularly in the winter. Please let Trimnells House know your expected time of arrival using the Comments Box when booking or using the contact details found on your booking confirmation. Trimnells house has facilities for disabled guests, including a stair lift to the first floor and a ground-floor double room with wide-access shower. Please note check in and check out outside the stated hours can only be offered upon prior arrangement with the property. Guests need to submit a request at least 24 hours before arrival. The same applies to breakfast which is served between 07:45 and 09:30.
