  The welcome at reception unlike some four star hotels I have stayed in! This is nice to find when you are a mature lady travelling on your own to be made to feel welcome from the start. Also the fact that they did not realize I would be on my own and offered to change my ground floor room to an upstairs one if I wished to do so. - The staff were ... o que as pessoas dizem » very welcoming, and most kindly granted our request for a larger bed! The room was excellent and the bathroom facilities were immaculate. The breakfast was also of the same high standard. We will certainly stay at Christchurch East again.

  The hotel was very close to the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Sylvia on reception who went to a great deal of trouble to give me directions to the Catholic church. The breakfast and all meals are excellent value for money.
