There were two aspects of our stay at Chester's Stone Villa Guest
House which I feel are particularly worthy of an especial mention.
Firstly, the genuine warmth and sincerity of the owners'
hospitality. 'They couldn't do enough for us' is a bit of a
cliché, but I found that Dave, Kirsty and Stephen were all very
professional, courteous, friendly,

I went to Chester for a birthday weekend, and was not disappointed.The
hotel had been given excellent reviews, and so that's why we chose
it. We were not disappointed, ... when we arrived both Kirstie and David
welcomed us and were very attentive, fetching our cases, recommending a
beautiful Italian restaurant to us and even booked the restaurant and
taxi. We stayed in Room 5 and was pleasantly surprised, the room and
bathroom were spacious, the bedding was beautiful, the room had fruit in
it,

There are so many things to like about Victoria Lodge which make it an
enjoyable stay. The owners are friendly and welcoming, all of the rooms
are generous sizes and there is nothing that you need that isn't
provided. Vast selection for breakfast which us delicious. Beautiful
building and decor and quiet considering on a busy road. It isn't
licenced but there is a pub directly opposite. All in all a very
charming place

Family run old Manor, welcoming, little home made cakes in the lovely hall. Sammie (daughter) and John (father) were so friendly and really made us feel at home. After a meal out we decided to go back to the Manor, where we found a courtesy box next to the fridge which held an array of different wines. It's a quiet, friendly and welcoming place to stay. Such love and care have gone into making everyone's stay a great one. The room was peaceful, well appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely the best place I have stayed in Chester, so look NO further than Lavender Lodge!!

I have just spent a couple of weeks travelling around the UK in a number of different guest houses and found the Ba Ba to offer a much higher standard of accommodation than the letsbookhotel.com rating would indicate. This was one of the nicest establishments we have stayed at for the price range we targetted.

The staff at the Ba Ba made us feel very welcome, the bedroom was immaculate, clean and the refreshments were plentiful and most welcome at the end of a busy day. I would definitely recommend the Ba Ba as a place to stay and really close to the historic attractions of Chester. We also had excellent evening meals locally on the recommendation of the staff at the Ba Ba.

I can't fault this place. Such good value for money, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The apartment is incredibly spacious, which was such a bonus as we had 4 small children with us. We stayed at the Chester Apartment for our sons graduation at the cathedral. What wonderful accomodation, very comfortable and excellent central location. Very close to the Mill Hotel, where we had a beautiful meal on the Canaletto barge restaurant, located at the hotel. Will be looking to book again in the near future.
