Dream way to start the future of my partner and my life together thankyou letsbookhotel.com and hotel Du Vin for helping. todos opiniões »
Our courteous booking in lady. She took on board my 60th birthday celebration, and sent a glass of bubbly to the room. The same lady sorted out the fact that someone turned our 'service the room' hanger around to 'do not disturb' when we returned early evening, someone's idea of a jolly jape!.
Lovely welcome. Room spacious and modern. Bathroom had wow factor. Free standing roll top bath and monsoon shower. Bed really comfortable, pillows like sleeping on a cloud. Location good - short walk into town. Breakfast delicious.
Great location within minutes of the Town centre. Impressive period building sensitively decorated. Cool & relaxing bar/lounge area. Decent bedroom - comfortable. Good value for money.
A really cool and slick place in a trendy area. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. The bar and dining area downstairs is perfect to have a relaxing drink or a meal.
The reception staff were superb and the breakfast (upgraded) was excellent
Dining area was very prleasant
Loved the naughty picture in the conference room.
Liked the proximity to centre of town and the Cheltenham Jazz festival had bands playing in the hotel - food was very good - and maitre d was attentive.
The bar, restaurant, breakfast were all very good.
Very cosy and friendly and comfortable.
Best Bloody Mary I've had in a very long time!.
The room was beautiful and so was the bathroom. Perfect for a romantic getaway.Spa was lovely and we enjoyed the massages very much.

Food was lovely
We were upgraded to a beautiful room for no reason!
Close to Cheltenham
Relaxing atmosphere.
Very friendly, helpful staff: great location near centre: good dining so no need to go out at night: altogether excellent.
Found it easily with tomtom. No problem parking. Excellent food and wine and lovely staff. I definitely hope to go back.
The hotel was very clean, all the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
The extremely friendly bar staff ..very welcoming . This has always been the case on other visits to this hotel .
The staff shows high standards of service and professionalism.
Room was quiet and bed very comfortable.
The food was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the hotel had a very warm and luxurious feel.
easy parking, very comfortable well appointed suite, close to theatre, and shopping, superb bistro.
Good location, lovely staff, good food - we were there for festival, so very busy. Clean.
Restaurant, breakfast, comfortable seating in room. Comfortable bed, monsoon shower.
Bedroom very well equipped, and spacious; also our particular room was very quiet. Fantastic .. Made to feel welcome and that includes my little dog ... Will return.
Friendly staff and cosy style. Very comfortable bed and sensible size of room.
All the staff were delightful obviously well trained.
The food was very good.
The location is excellent. Food is good and Sunday Brunch is perfect.
We have stayed in other du vin hotels so we like the chain brand.
Staff very attentive, food excellent and rooms were lovely.

Staff in bar and restaurant were excellent.
Not much. Good location. Free parking.
Food is good. Location is convenient.
The fact we had to leave and go home.
The drunken guests in the bar on Saturday night. We felt sooooo sorry for the bar staff. Some of the residents thought that money could buy anything, not so! The manners and attitude of the bar staff were impeccable, the guests were at fault.
Not much. Quite a wait between courses at our evening meal but they were exceptionally busy.
Nothing.
The prices are steep. Food and room rates are a little too extravagant and should not be so high. When I return to the Cotswolds, I would probably stay in the countryside in a character B&B place, purely down to cost. However, for business travel this is good. I would expect to pay such prices in London, not Cheltenham.
The stainless steel shower trays are completely out of character.
No shampoo in the room or soap/gel
Selection of TV channels and quality of picture was very poor
Although the meal was very nice in the restaurant the service was poor - after waiting 40 minutes since finishing our main course I had to approach the staff and tell them that I existed - staff didn't seem that bothered - maitre d apologised but by that stage I had lost interest in ordering anything else- they were busy but I still think that wasn't an excuse for being ignored!.
Very noisy plumbing (from both our room and next door......)
No mention of room service in the guest guide - but the full menu is available with a surcharge.
We liked everything although I called up beforehand to extend our checkout time when we were also offered a bath in our bedroom and an extra big bed. These were clearly not noted down as we were called at 11.30 asking why we hadn't yet left and our bath wasn't in the room however we were still happy with it.
no elevator to the top floor were our room was located ,not enough parking spaces.
Only thing were the bar staff seemed a bit new and finding there feet but that's nothing to moan about really we still got good drinks.
The bar service system is very odd. Don't come to bar. Sit down and someone will take your order, eventually. Then wait 20 minutes for drink to turn up. A single imperfection.
My room overlooked a noisy loading yard (not belonging to the hotel).
Nothing.
No functioning heater in room and we werent informed of that . A small plug in heater was in there . However by the time I got back from evening out and realised I was to use this as main room heating the room was extremely cold and spoiled the experience of the bedroom.
The bathroom facilities needed updating. The bath, sink had lots of cracks and scratches.Loo seat stained from a previous spillage.Leak from shower enclosure onto bathroom floor.
The pillows were too saggy. No biscuits on the tea tray. No slippers. We had booked a standard room on letsbookhotel.com at £169 without breakfast..assuming it would be a good room at that price. We were then advised on arrival that it was in the basement with a small window and small bed. We were offered an upgrade for £40 but still no breakfast included so at £210 per night, not good value at all.
the aquavision screens in our suite didnt work, lack of follow up from the hotel regarding my wifes phone charger,(left in our room)wine prices a little ambitious.
Noisy room (bathroom overlooking Cigar Shack in garden). Bed too small (queen size). Meant to be a superior room but our friends standard room twice the size and quiet.
Poor lighting. 2 bulbs in room not working and despite reporting this in morning before going out not fixed by evening.
No newspapers second day.
Service charge in restaurant + credit card left open for tip. Very bad.
The hotel hosted a large business reception through the evening which caused guests to have to use a side room where the bar service was below par.
Bath in the bedroom rather than the bathroom seemed bizarre as it made the entire room steam-up. Interesting!
The restaurant food was value for money without being in any way exciting.
We had a problem with a noisy heating system
The room was a little tired it had cup rings on the furniture, scraped off wall paper and marks/cracks in the ensuite.
Room is a bit small.
It wasn't as nice as others we have stayed in! The finishes were not as plush, there was a bath in our room which overcrowded the room so it felt cramped and the room wasn't particularly clean (bath, shower) disappointed.
Limited parking on site. Couldn't turn u set floor heating off in bathroom.
Having to extra for breakfast . Which was over priced.
Nothing.
The hotel receptionist was very rude.
Nothing.
Not enough parking had to pay and display :(.
After inquiring about rates for the Cheltenham festival in March I thought they were diabolical. Hotels shouldnt be allowed to do this!!!!.
nothing.
Cheltenham seemed to be a town in decline.
The bistro's food and service staff were quite poor. Service was slow and basics such as being offered a menu were not afforded. The food was consistently poor - breakfast was cold, dinner overcooked.
Cost, poor directions to room, air conditioning did not work, or the iron and the bathroom was dirty.
Exec room sizes vary quite a lot
Parking is usually on road as v small carpark always full.
Bed not properly made
Missed wake up call
Poor selection in mini bar no juice
No magnifying mirror in bathroom.
The food was over priced. It was not very good considering the price; it
was plain and unattractive. Our room was dark and over looked by the
restaurant. They advertised over sized bath but this was not the case,
very basic en suite.
It's a bit dark inside the room.
