  Firstly I would like to say that the people who run the place were very friendly and helpful and the most hospitable people I have met in my experience of staying in a wide variety of hotels. The place was spotless and extremely fresh with an expert touch on the decor. The breakfast in my opinion was cooked to perfection. Really couldn't think of ... o que as pessoas dizem » a bad word to say about Downsfield Bed & Breakfast as it's also very well situated especially as I do not drive and could jump on a bus literally - The cleanliness and look of the B & B was exceptional. The way it was decorated was lovely and modern. Made us want to come back to the accomodation abit earlier to chill out. We stayed at the st ives harbour hotel and spa two days previous and just added on Downsfield to the end of our stay, but i would definatly return to Downsfield eveb though its further to get to town it was a much more nicer and homely place to return too. The price was reasonable too, making us want to return as a wh

  The hotel has a fine location on a height on the outskirts of St. Ives, reached by a very narrow driveway. Our room had a spectacular view over the coast and town. It was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The restaurant presented good meals at a modest price; the breakfast was fresh and offere... o que as pessoas dizem » d a large choice. The location of the hotel makes it a good base for walking along the North Cornish coastal path. We would certainly return to the Ga - Everything. It has a lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I would describe our stay there as a five star experience from a three star hotel. Whilst it may not be the cheapest place to stay, you gets what you pay for and with this hotel you get a lot. St Ives is a magical place to stay and this hotel just is the icing on the cake.

  the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were hearty and the service excellent, the bar was open late, hotel was easy to find. - fantastic, helpful staff and pleasant stay :)
