  The food was very good and the restaurant staff extremely personable I stay in hotels frequently and I can honestly say that your staff were without exception the most polite, helpful and cheerful that I have come across.   This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back. The location is perfect, it's right beside the river, very close to the main shopping area and the beautiful buildings of the University. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable clean and well equipped. The bathrooms are amazing, some with walk-in showers a - Great location in the heart of Cambridge. Comfortable rooms with individual character that you don't find in chain hotels. Above all, I was impressed by the staff - attentive to the needs of customers and I experienced three clear examples of staff members going the extra mile to help the customer get what he required .
