Andre and Sue are wonderful hosts! The whole house is beautifully decorated giving a calm, homey feeling. Our room was so pretty and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The breakfast, served in a beautiful dining room, was delicious. Andre gave us lots of information about walks in the area as well as recommendations for restaurants. The level of service was excellent; just right, not too intrusive but ensuring we had all we needed. The room was a decent size and the bed was extremely comfortable!
Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were always very helpful when we were enquiring about local amenities or asking for assistance.
The location was great as it was within easy walking distance of the town centre but just far enough away to remain tranquil. With just enough parking on sight it was ideal for leaving the car for t.

Rooms are clean and very comfortable beds and pillows. We had to double check the price on the website as we booked 2 nights but thought the price might have only been for one. Fantastic value for money!

The place is beautiful, spotlessy clean ( I wish I could clean my shower as good), very pleasant people and very welcoming, they couldn't do enough for you, breakfast was excellent, hot toast with the food massive plus (in the past at other places ) the toast only turns up after the food has been eaten. we would definitely go back and would tell all our friends wanting to go to the Lakes to try the Westbourne B&B. ***** five stars.
We had a lovely sized room with a king size bed which was very comfortable. All the facilities were of an excellant standard. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The choice for breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and a bowl of fresh fruit salad available every morning along with cereals yoghurts and toast and full english breakfast more than enough to see you through the day :-).
The Westbourne hotel is a lovely hotel based close to Bowness town centre. The people who run the hotel are very nice and were very welcoming on arrival. The full English breakfast I had there was also lovely, there was also vegetarian options for breakfast which was great as my partner is a vegetarian. All round good hotel and I would defiantly stay there again.
Rooms modern, bed comfortable with quality linen, spotlessly clean and bathrooms more suited to a 5 star hotel. Breakfast had excellent choice, a quality product in quantity meaning lunch was probably quite redundant. The owners provided an effortlessly , seamless service with an engaging friendliness. Will return should the Lake District draw us again.

position of the accommodation is perfect as its a short walk down into the main centre of Bowness but in a side street so is quiet.
The Westbourne was warm and comfortable and felt very welcoming. The hosts are very friendly but not overpowering and are willing to chat but without being intrusive. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of extra tea, coffee and toast if required. The bed in our room, room 5, was the best we have stayed in in a B&B.
I can't fault the Westbourne. It was immaculate, comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely time there and wish we could have stayed longer. The food was excellent and the owners were very hospitable and helpful. We hope to go there again soon, and would recommend it to anyone.
Very friendly good location we have visited this area many times but after talking to the owner we discovered a new walk their were very helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty to eat and the room was taditional comfortable enviroment very clean premises. I will be staying here again.
The service was exceptional, staff were attentive but not invasive. Breakfast was high quality and there was great choice. We had a small double room which was cosy but not small with a lovely ensuite.A great price with a car park. Would highly recommend.

A very comfortable B&B. I had a delightful room with an extremely comfortable bed. It was well situated within easy reach of the town and the lake. It was situated up a hill but that did not bother me.

Nothing - definitely a place we will use again.
The only minor thing was a lack of plug sockets in the bedroom for the hairdryer and to charge the phone but that was only a minor issue. The en-suite, as mentioned by other guests, is very small but it was beautifully clean and workable.

Too early check out for a weekend break....would be nice to have a little lay-in, and there is only an hour window for breakfast in the morninig but I can understand the reason when the B&B run at such high standard you will need to put the time in to keep it that way :) The shower door was flymsie, but workable.
As with most accommodations the pillows are too thick for me. Recommend taking your own or buying a cheap flat cushion if you have neck problems as I do.
