Southern Breeze Lodge is located in Southbourne, Bournemouth, just 200 metres from the cliffs, overlooking 7 miles of sandy beaches. The Lodge offers rooms with free WiFi and free parking. Each bedroom at Southern Breeze features an LCD TV, radio and tea/coffee-making facilities. They include private bathrooms with shaving points and hairdryers. The dining room with its bright corner bay window serves traditional English breakfasts each morning. Special dietary requirements can be catered for if notified in advance. Bournemouth’s Promenade is less than a 5-minute walk away and there are many walking and cycling routes surrounding the guest house, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants. Bournemouth town centre is 3 miles away and has a range of attractions, while Pokesdown Train Station is 1 mile from Southern Breeze. The New Forest National Park is just 20 minutes' drive away.

Everything. The room we were offered was brand new, very tastefully decorated to a high standard. Lots of touches that puts this place above the rest like: On arrival we were greeted in the car park and our cases carried in, we were offered a tray of tea/coffee and this was delivered to our room with homemade bread pudding aswell!! Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a jar of cookies, bottle of water...the list goes on. Free parking and wifi also. The bed was very comfortable and .
todos opiniões » Myself and my partner have just spent two nights at southern breeze lodge,which is run by a lovely couple Malcolm and fran.On arrival Malcolm came out to meet us and helped with our luggage, we were then offered a fresh pot of tea and homemade bread and butter pudding which I thought was a lovely touch! The rooms were kept spotless and cleaned on a daily basis.We were cooked a full English breakfast by fran each morning with was superb and set us up for the day,I would highly recommend this lov. A lovely hotel situated in a quiet road close to the sea with off street parking.It is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with lots of pictures to remind you that you are at the seaside. We stayed in Room 5 being a large double room with a big en-suite shower room. In addition to a very comfortable bed the room had a large TV and two comfortable chairs. There was kettle and a nice selection of hot drinks and biscuits in the room. The large full English breakfast was beautifully cooked. M. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and you felt at home straight away. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful Mal took us into Bournemouth both evenings which we thought was a very nice gesture.Following a long walk we returned to a nice cosy superior room and Fran and Mal had left us cake to have with our cuppa. The room was very spacious and very clean and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection on offer. We would stay agai. Location is perfect whether you have a vehicle or use public transport. Breakfast to die for. Great choice. Beautiful room tastefully decorated and very clean. A lot of thoughtful touches. Note the mirror surrounds....they are a little special. And owners Mal and Fran were simply lovely people. Their hard work and genuine care shines through. Can't rate the Southern Breeze lodge high enough. Going back one day. The welcome on arrival was second to none, we had a lovely cup of tea and bread pudding when we arrived brought to our room, the standard of the lodge was excellent, and even had bacon sandwiches made for us to take away in the morning due to missing breakfast, we would definitely reccommend this to anybody and will most definitely be our 1st choice when we return to bournemouth in the future. Spacious clean bedroom/lounge, 2 TVs - one for her one for him!! Nice big shower. Large bath towels. Great breakfast. Fresh fruit, choice of cereals, nice hot breakfast menu - very generous portions. Great hosts of the hotel - Fran and Malcolm! Thank you for picking us up while we were walking from the station - what a surprise that was !! Def will be back !!!. Southern Breeze Lodge had a very homely feel, and we were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and Mal and Fran bent over backwards to make our stay very enjoyable. We have in the past stayed at many Guest Houses, but Southern Breeze was by far the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable. We will definately be booking again. 10/10. We had a great time at the Southern Breeze Lodge, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. It's no wonder this place is so popular, it deserves every accolade given, ten times over. I booked this hotel for my Dad and his wife as a Christmas present and mentioned in my booking that the reservation was a gift. They received an upgrade on arrival and told me that the staff were very friendly and that the location of the hotel was excellent - 5 minutes from a beautiful sandy beach, and near to Bournemouth. From the moment we arived we were gretted very warmly and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for mel and fran, the room was imaculate and the decor was clean and bauitifull, the food the accomadation and the hospitality was top marks they will see us again we would reccomend it to every body. A real gem!! Spotless throughout the whole house. Very comfortable bed, good food with ample selection. Each room decorated to a very high standard. Fran and Malcom could not do enough for all their guests ! real value.|Quite road with off road parking few minuets to local beach. Brilliant!!. a short walk to the beach and local shops,also parking was available, the room was clean and comfortable,the breakfast was very good a lot of variety and the fresh fruit looked good and was delicious. The owners, Malcolm and Fran were very welcoming. We were given one of their newly refurbished rooms, and it was fabulous. The bedroom was large and bright, with a lovely shower room. There were lots of nice attention to detail in keeping with the seaside theme. Everything - the large new loft room with LARGE bathroom. The hosts were very friendly, and as we had to leave early to catch the ferry they packed a lovely hot breakfast with extras for us. Maybe a tad too far from Bournemouth centre, but taxis are plentiful, so not a problem. We liked it all. Nothing. The milk cartons in room just don't make a cuppa taste right. Having to leave!. Nothing. N/A. Pressure of the shower was very low, don't know if that can even be fixed as all was new. Nothing.
